@Hamal2018 @notcee_fan Do you just gave him a blood money, money that was used in criminal activity or prostitution.
English

@notcee_fan Give some money as an offering, then feed some homeless people, and use the rest for my own needs 🤷🤣

English

@notcee_fan Call the police, then cordon off the area nobody gets closer nobody touches anything. Considered the area a crime scene
English

@NewReaganCaucus I think nothing's going to happen. This is a problem with Trump, I remember the 2020 elections he kept something's big is going to happen, proving the elections were rigged but borrowing from media there's no payoff.
English

@FoxenCoffee Yes and no AI can be a too but it can be abused to a point where faults like being repetitive for example Suno songs are too repetitive or AI stories repeat the same phrases.
English

@GamewithDave Spending Saturday afternoon going to the theater to watch cartoons.
English

@AleximusPrime I wonder streaming has anything to do with low boxoffice numbers. The last time I saw a movie in a theater was 2016.
English

Okay I watched it and it was actually surprisingly good! Really full of heart and funny moments that made me laugh. The activism thing didn’t bother me cuz both sides come together in the end and learn their lessons. It’s a shame it’s getting a low box office turnout cuz it’s not nearly as bad as I was afraid it could be!

@FoxenCoffee @FurryFiesta I'm sad you had to go through this I guess there's only one way we can handle this buy something for you.
English

@ConservFurry99 I would not be keen on it. No need to sink to the level the left wing and try to bring politics into the Furry convention. Have you went to a fun debate like best couple which female furry characters will make a gay furry straight things like that.
English

If you're reading this and thinking I'm actually going to go forward with it, you're a moron. This is just an Idea that floated in my mind and I figured I'd share it. There's no way any furry con would allow this. It's just wishful thinking.
TheConservativeFurry@ConservFurry99
Hypothetically, If I were ever allowed to do an open debate panel at a furry convention (Similar to that of Charlie Kirks campus events), would you attend?
English

@Twilight_Husky_ My question is how these furries get $300 for a ref sheet and over 5,000 fur suit I have a bad feeling they're maxing out credit cards.
English

@localquackhead True the problem I think I'm seeing is we have a young people going into the commission business seeing $200 commissions with their dollar signs in their eyes but no discipline in the arts or business skills.
English

@frostiestofmen @YouTellEmSteve1 @RealLastStand I knew about very since 1999, Rediscover furry after refuting CSI fur and loathing, but didn't became open about being a furry until 2006, when I realized there's no problem for a Christian to be a furry. I am a ACNA Anglican.
English

@Actonrf @YouTellEmSteve1 @RealLastStand You’re 65? Whoa! A silvermuzzle in the house!
I also became a furry (basically) in 2006, although I didn’t formally join the fandom until 2024. I’m aware of the geek origins.
The violence is coming from Gen Z, right now mainly those born in the 2000s or the tail end of the 90s.

🚨NEW: The Trump assassination attempt. The murder of Charlie Kirk. The ICE shooting in Dallas.
All have links—direct or indirect—to the furry fandom.
For @RealLastStand, a longtime insider explains how parts of the community evolved from a creative hobbyist culture into an insular online ecosystem where extreme ideologies and apocalyptic politics can take hold.
It's a fascinating look inside a world most people barely understand. Link below.

@frostiestofmen @RoyCalbeck It came through SF fandom. Cosplay at worldcon in the early sexual revolution, 1970, had stuff that will never get in the door today. Canceled culture and anger is definitely a generational. I know furries my age on the left. We disagree but we still talk to each other.
English

@Actonrf @RoyCalbeck Ehhh… well, the sexual content in the fandom has been made continuously since at least 1978, but it really took off in the 90s. That was Boomers and Gen X who started that crap. The younger generations were simply influenced by it, and then imitated it in larger volumes.
English

In the 1990s, I spoke up as a member of #Furry Fandom against people invading our culture with no sense of social norms or consideration - most of whom believed that if you weren't on board with wearing bondage gear in public, you were a literal Fascist.
We were first to fall. I'm sorry, #CharlieKirk.
We were also an art-heavy fandom, originating with independent comic books. Furry comics were the driving force in the fandom's first decade, and because of that we kept it clean. Furry porn was something you had to "know a guy who knows a guy" about. Pinups like you'd see on Betty Page calendars was about as racy as it got. We were about Science Fiction, Fantasy, novels, animation, and of course swapping art in big black sketchbooks, just for the fun of creating.
Then we had sexual lifestyle activists enter the fandom, starting up a new convention called ConFurence. No one batted an eye because no one cared who you banged in the privacy of your own bedroom.
But within a few years, people started showing up to the convention who openly complained that that had no idea what a "Furry" was and no interest in it either; they were under the impression that it was some kind of Gay Pride event, so they showed up in drag-queen outfits and leather bondage with leashes attached.
Because people were used to bringing their kids, and because some of these events and incidents were at family venues such as the Knotts' Berry Farm Hotel, a schism formed whereby one side demanded the pervs at least keep it to themselves and the other called them - us - Nazis.
The same routine was played out there as would be elsewhere: smear, isolate, and run out anyone opposed to anything because if you didn't they were going to ABSOLUTELY murder you, don't you know some of them are *gasp* CHRISTIANS?!
I was smeared and labeled a Nazi as well, for saying all this was going to come bite the fandom in the ass. They laughed and banned me for saying things like "All Lives Matter" (incitement, according to art site Weasyl) and that it was defamatory to call a free-speech forum "Nazi" despite a lack of actual Nazis (FurAffinity).
That's when Furry Antifa cells began to show up at furry conventions with baseball bats, slapping "NAZIFUR" stickers on hotel room doors. Some of these began advising people on Twitter how to face off with cops in the streets.
Stating the obvious fell on deaf ears. They were, and mostly still are, in total control of the fandom. Discord leaks talking about how to poison the coffee of "Nazifurs" circulated along with lines like "shoot some fascists and use centrists for target practice". It became laudable to tell everyone how violent you were prepared to be to battle [insert made-up insane conspiracy theory here].
And now here's the chicken, roosting on a corpse, with half the American Left trying to pretend (like those people who invaded my fandom and turned it into what it's known for today) that Robinson did nothing wrong and that if he did he's not one of theirs.
Welp. There go the feds, investigating his contacts in the fandom, and I wonder how many of the people who lied about me and thousands of other Right-and-Center Furries are going to be either perpwalked or dragged out by the heels after trying to live out their "antifascist" fantasy.
I can only end with this:
I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO, YOU ABSOLUTE MORONS.

English

@RoyCalbeck @frostiestofmen Nice writeup from an OG or should I say OF Original Furry. I also believe a lot of the stuff such as the sexual and political identity comes from the colleges and universities which the millennial and zoomers brought into the into the fandom.
English

@frostiestofmen Then most content began to move online, because it was cheaper to print in electrons and you reached a far wider potential audience. Conventions had been mostly about topic panels, video rooms and merch, and moved to focus more on fan-centric content like fursuiting.
English

@frostiestofmen @SwipeWright @YouTellEmSteve1 @RealLastStand I am 65 and I became a furry in 2006 I'm going to disagree yes there was this sexuality stuff but it's also very connected to science fiction fandom the early geek culture. The recent violence is a shift to the millennial generation
English

The furry fandom, because of its connection early on to the lewd underground comix movement, created a space for weird sex/pleasure worship to fester, opening the gates for LGBTQ+ to take it over, leading to a radical left-wing activist faction. But these do not represent most furries. Even though many are still gay, most are chill. The radical ones tend to be communist trans activists.
English

Conceing @FoxenCoffee controversy back in my day small businesses either used Print Shop Deluxe or or a bought license at a stock photo or graphics firm. Only big corporations hired artist.
They didn't hire furry artist. AI didn't replace the furry artist.

English

@Wund3rBark @silverfang09 @Twilight_Husky_ 1. Some problems are solvable, the rest is for another conversation. 2 Straw man. 3. Yes one can come with many examples but I need an illustration not the same toony badge illustration. 4. I live 65 years we learn to adapt. 5. Your repeating yourself. We agreed to disagree bye.
English

@Actonrf @silverfang09 @Twilight_Husky_ Generative ai was definitely NOT a good alternative, number 1, it’s environmental impact is stupid bad as fuck, number 2, you are using models trained off stolen artwork, number 3 it looks like dogshit, number 4 generative ai contributes to lack of jobs, number 5, looks like shit
English

@silverfang09 @Wund3rBark @Twilight_Husky_ If you're talking about my avatar, I have some bad experiences with two three people I tried to commission and the AI turned out to be a very good alternative. Can a Christian use AI, what part of adiaphora you do not understand.
English

@Actonrf @Wund3rBark @Twilight_Husky_ Nobody is forcing you to buy a 300 reference sheet but its always ✝️ in their bio with made up scenarios to use AI
English

@Wund3rBark @Twilight_Husky_ You have a right to exist, correct, and a right to voluntary trade but you do not have a right to force trade or harass other people who do not wish to not trade with you and use AI. The fact that you charge $300 I would expect professional media studio.
English

@Actonrf @Twilight_Husky_ Then buy the groceries or go for a cheaper artist, like it’s really not that hard to not go for the expensive artists when you need to be buying food… have priorities man
