@rayzecornbred2 @chevychevelle48 If we’re going off that so did Joey Logano, Chase Elliott, Cole Custer, Kyle Larson, William Byron
English

@chevychevelle48 technically brad k drove them in the lower series

So Denny Hamlin & AJ Allmendinger are the only full time Cup drivers left to have raced the Gen 4 cars in the Cup Series. #NASCAR

Racing Territory@RacingTerritory
With Kyle Busch’s passing, Denny Hamlin becomes the only active full-time driver to race in the Cup Series before 2007. 10/09/2005- Denny Hamlin 03/25/2007- A.J. Allmendinger 03/30/2008- Michael McDowell 09/14/2008- Joey Logano 11/02/2008- Brad Keselowski

@hetterman45 @5KLNASCARFAN @josh_dotcom I wouldn’t count Newman’s as an “aero” flip, his was caused because of how he hit the wall and in terms of Kurt’s we saw something similar to his with Larson in the 2017 Coke Zero 400
English

@5KLNASCARFAN @josh_dotcom big ass spoiler
•Larson 2019
•Gaughan 2019
•Newman 2020
•Logano 2021
•(Kurt 2020, not a flip but)
next gen
•Burton 2022
•Preece 2023
•Lajoie 2024
•Lajoie again 2024
•(McDowell 2024)
•Berry 2024
the next gen has easily had more aero related flips as well

dude i don't even care that these things blew tf away i want this BACK
Ted Lasso@SpursTedLasso
We used to have a proper country 4 times a year

@dalers902 @chris4_8 @keaton_beaver27 @C1_1RIS So mad he said “shit your ass down” instead of “sit your ass down”
English

@b_enson94 I’m not missing anything, i don’t see the big deal dude. Oh no someone died doing something they knew could kill them. It’s tragic, yeah, it just doesn’t seem like that big of a deal to me.
English

@Adam001943 You’re completely missing my point or intentionally dodging it, but alright.
English

@b_enson94 Ok and? Times were better back then, NASCAR was more popular, the racing was better.
English

@Adam001943 And similar logic in the late 90s/early 2000s is what got people killed.
English

@b_enson94 Again, it’s racing there is danger involved, doesn’t matter the speeds.
English

@Adam001943 You’re ignoring the distinct increase in energy dispersion and subsequent danger involved in a 200MPH flip versus one at a slower speed.
And, there’s a difference between a weight-shift forward roll at 100MPH vs a reverse roll blowover at 200MPH. Not all flips are created equal.
English

@b_enson94 Flips do happen anyway, it’s racing, doesn’t matter if you’re doing 100 MPH or 200 MPH a flip can still happen in any way shape or form.
English

@Adam001943 One perfect scenario of getting wedged against the wall while getting pushed into the air by a car from behind ≠ we can go 210MPH at Talladega because “flips happen anyway”
That logic is simply foolish and dangerous. Flips *will* happen, but even more will happen at 200MPH+.
English

@b_enson94 @ChampagneRacin Ok and? Kvapil flipped at Kansas doing 175 does that mean they need to cut their speed back too?
English

@Adam001943 @ChampagneRacin That just simply isn’t true, man. The faster they go in pack formation, the more opportunities are created for cars to get airborne. It’s simple probabilities.
English

@dgoodin24 The whole manufacturer loyalty bs needs to go, it’s borderline race manipulation at this point
English

@b_enson94 @ChampagneRacin You have your opinion i have mine. But i honestly don’t think they should have altered the package because of Newman’s wreck, that could happen with any package.
English

@Adam001943 @ChampagneRacin That’s just an incredibly reckless and careless approach. There’s a reason they altered the package after Newman’s wreck.
English

@b_enson94 @ChampagneRacin Racing can be dangerous, going to a race can be dangerous no matter the speeds on both ends, it’s part of it 🤷🏼♂️
English

@Adam001943 @ChampagneRacin The fear of drivers/spectators dying isn’t “soft”, but ignoring the dangers that pacakge presented is certainly ignorant.
English

@ChampagneRacin This racing was equally as chaotic and destructive minus the fuel saving 🤐
Plus, 205MPH was simply too fast for pack racing.
English

@Frankie_Dodd_ @TheCW_Sports @MattWeaverRA Actually having sidewall and a skinnier tire gives you this, not wide tires with no sidewall where they have to drive it off the right front
English

@TheCW_Sports @MattWeaverRA These cars are so much better then the cup cars
English

@LoweDown25 @wfo15 @RCRracing @BassProShops @winchester @KyleBusch The Daytona 500 today is way differently than it was even 10 years ago, he made a smart move
