The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Türkiye, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Djibouti, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the State of Palestine, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of the Sudan, the Republic of Yemen, the Lebanese Republic, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, People's Republic of Bangladesh and the State of Kuwait condemn in the strongest terms the illegal and unacceptable step taken by the so-called “Somaliland” region in opening a purported “embassy” in occupied Jerusalem. This constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and relevant international resolutions, and represents a direct infringement on the legal and historical status of occupied Jerusalem.
The Ministers reaffirm their categorical rejection of any unilateral measures aimed at entrenching an illegal reality in occupied Jerusalem or conferring legitimacy on any entities or arrangements that contravene international law and relevant United Nations resolutions. They reiterate that East Jerusalem has been occupied Palestinian territory since 1967, and that any measures intended to alter its legal and historical status are null and void and without legal effect.
The Ministers further emphasize their full support for the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia, and their unequivocal rejection of any unilateral measures that undermine the unity of Somali territory or infringe upon its sovereignty.

We are not particularly concerned about that, sir. Their criticism only serves to strengthen the relationship between #Israel and #Somaliland. Locating the embassy in Jerusalem was right decision, and that is what truly matters.

Yet another Somaliland government arrests a journalist. All Somaliland governments did this, following the same exact format: ill-trained journalists write the first thing that comes to their often khat-addled mind in Somaliland's wild-west media scene. Objective reporting, fact-checking, double-sourcing, right to reply etc don't come into it. No libel laws means no restrictions. And then the govt guys get mad, and arrest the offending 'journalist', keep them in the nick for few days and then release them, trampling all over the law in the process, and tarnishing Somaliland's well-earned reputation for freedom of the media. When will our system of governance learn and change this well-trodden path into repeated failure?

@RepOfSomaliland Absolutely agree. Greece should form closer diplomatic relations with Somaliland and eventually recognize the independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Somaliland.
I believe Greece is aware about the democratic establishment of Somaliland.

Greece 🇬🇷 should recognize the Republic of Somaliland as soon as possible. As Turkey seeks to assert its influence across the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea, engagement with Somaliland would give Greece a strategic foothold and potential access to the Gulf of Aden while supporting democratic governance and regional stability.

The United States has inaugurated a new office in Hargeisa for the administrations of Puntland and Somaliland, referring to them collectively as northern Somalia. What a disgrace. If the people of Somaliland still have any dignity and respect left for their cause they should protest against this corrupted government and force it to close this Somalian office in Hargeisa. I mean, why should the U.S. government recognize Somaliland when the Somaliland administration itself is comfortable working with Washington under the label of “Northern Somalia”? @Hassangallaydh
