I agree with the majority of your sentiment and view. Tesla is by far my biggest holding, which I continue to hold and I’ve owned 3 Teslas, and currently the CT which I drive 95% of the time in FSD. I’m a huge Elon and Tesla fan, however, I’d still love to know where you think they’ve outperformed, over delivered and beat on timelines the last 5 years. I also understand that Elon tackles the world’s hardest problems and deadlines are hard to estimate, but if we’re being honest here, saying on Q2 2025 earnings call that half of the US population by EOY, vs and basically a year later we have 40 or so cybercabs currently running in Austin, and a few hundred in the Bay Area is absurd and borderline reckless. I’ll continue to hold through this year to see if Cybercab and FSD comes to fruition.

If you want to evaluate Tesla like it's Dollar General, be my guest. I evaluate Tesla based on its projected future value. I double-majored in ME and EE, so I have some idea of Musk's talent and skills, and his upcoming projects. There's never been anyone like Musk and, with the advent of the AI age, there likely never will be another. And his companies are incomparable. Tesla's portfolio of business categories spans all of the major sectors of the coming decade. Energy storage, BEVs, autonomous vehicles, autonomous trucks, AI, data centers, space data centers, moon-based manufacturing and satellite launching, worldwide comms, tunneling, neuralink, humanoid robots. There's never been anything close to this. Barring a Democrat takeover of government, in 10-15 years there will be the S&P 500, Nasdaq, Dow and X (Tesla/Spacex).

My gut feeling is: Both NASDAQ and $TSLA are overreacting. 1. Markets: even though Trump disappointed , the surprise isn’t that big and the end is still communicated at 2-3 weeks. Best case would have been the same , only without the Stone Age comment. 2. Tesla : in addition to being down 2.7% with the market, the delivery number la added to that to drop it 4.5% or so. But deliveries grew YoY, Europe looking strong. Energy deliver miss is unclear - but at the same time , doubting that there is enormous demand for utility scale storage makes no sense. And Tesla is a Robotaxi story anyway. I am inclined to buy this dip (while making sure more I can sustain more short term downside )

@CuriousPejjy I feel Tesla could do much better if they had advertised massively during the Super Bowl. I find the lack of advertising on FSD 14 and all the awesome Tesla features at this point to be a bit sad.

@NickGibbsIAG Robotaxi rollout has been a joke. Almost a year now and less than 40 cars in their backyard in Austin. I’m a huge Tesla bull buy patience is running very thin. The only thing keeping me positive is that my CT literally drives me everywhere and does an amazing job.

Listening to this $NVDA call is making it abundantly clear. Analyst / WS don't understand what is happening. I have never seen such a gap in knowledge by "experts". For all retail out there. $TSLA So, my dad had the FSD trial for a month. He loved it. Could not stop talking about it. Trial ended 2 weeks ago and I asked him if I should upgrade his account for the $100/month. My dad…being my dad…said no because $100 is not worth it. Now, I pay the $100 on my Tesla because I know it’s worth it. My dad drives 10x more than me so I knew he knew it was worth it, but I gave him a week to go back to driving normal. Few nights ago he called me and told me to upgrade the software because he can’t go back to driving 😂 FSD is the future. Best real world use case of AI. Just needs to penetrate more markets but man if they can get my dad to pay $100/month, they can get anyone to pay it.

What kind of car do you have? I agree sometimes driving is fun, however, daily commutes and most everyday driving I just don’t see how there’s any enjoyment there. I have hard time thinking the majority of people jump into their 30-50k vehicle and say to themselves, this is awesome as they head into work.
