There many more people on the waiting list with high assessed mobility needs than there are ground floor properties which is why more accessible properties are being built but can see what the specific situation is.

We're doing a lot to make sure the new council homes we are building are better adapted with more disabled access but demand massively outstrips supply (& because all are flats ground floor is limited)

Our well developed plans give the GLA the platform to move ahead and deliver a scheme for the East (now funded by them) that meets the needs of business and visitors, whilst supporting bus users and providing reassurance to residents & businesses in Fitzrovia and Soho.
