Attended an APPG for ADHD event this week focused on lived experience. Powerful to hear the impact of delayed diagnosis and lack of support. There’s much more to do - I’ll keep pushing for better understanding and support in Parliament.

Pleased to attend the Neurodiverse Business Awards in London last week. A great evening celebrating neurodivergent talent and inclusive workplaces. Great to meet Nina Hossain too. We must keep breaking down barriers and champion different ways of thinking.

Last night I presented a petition in Parliament, building on the Quicksilver Group’s online campaign with 12,000+ signatures against closing Yeovil’s stroke unit. Thank you to local campaigners including John, Ray and the Quicksilver Group. I’ll keep pushing for answers.

I was pleased to speak to @CharlieTaylor4 for @bbcsomerset this morning about the fantastic news that @Leonardo_UK has, at last, been awarded the NMH contract.

I have just come off the phone with the Government, who confirmed that they will award the New Medium Helicopter contract to Leonardo in Yeovil. ⬇️

The Chancellor @RachelReevesMP has refused to sign off on the New Medium Helicopter contract. @LDO_Helicopters had set today as the deadline for a decision otherwise the Yeovil factory to be closed with the loss of at least 3,000 jobs, ending UK helicopter manufacturing. telegraph.co.uk/business/2026/…
