🇾🇪 Dear Reds, Back in 2024, I made portraits of Duncan Edwards and the Busby Babes and raised £300 for the Manchester Munich Memorial Foundation (@the_mmmf). It felt like a way to honour their memory while doing something tangible for others. This year, I want us to try and raise more. The MMMF does work that truly matters. They support disadvantaged children and young people through partnerships with homeless charities, hospices, and community sports organisations. They keep the legacy of the Babes alive not through words alone, but through action. I've created three new portraits, and all profits from their sale will go directly to this fantastic foundation. The confidence Carrick and company have injected into this team is just magicial. No panic. Just the belief that we can simply out score the opposition. Their instinct now is to attack. Just a tremendous three points today. Brilliant.

Utter rubbish. We controlled large parts of the game, at least 60 minutes worth. You could argue it was an even game but not a chance they were the better team, they had a 30 minute spell in the second half and thats about it. I watched it and I can see all the stats that prove that. We need reinforcements yes but today was an even match that we edged due to being clinical - hence they were NOT the better team.

Carrick might just be the one. He's got such a calm, composed aura about him - it reminds me of Ancelotti / Zidane at Madrid. At 2-2, I didnt accept that would be it, I knew we'd find something, knew we'd not give up. Its not about the subs, the formation or the setup - its about belief, confidence and attitude. Carrick is bringing that and these players are starting to realise their potential and play to it 🙏 We wont play like we did vs City or Arsenal every week but we have to find ways to win, rack up points and capitalise on results like Villa's today. #GGMU Another week of feeling great about Manchester United and optimistic 👌

Well: A) Carrick is not Ole. B) He had a front row seat to what Ole did right / wrong C) Ineos are better squad builders than Glazers and wont drop a mn aging Ronaldo into his team D) We, as a club our in a very different phase to when Ole stepped in. The fanbase now accepts after trying Ruben and Erik that maybe, an ex-player jsut gets the club a bit more and with the right backing could be good. Either way, he gets the season and in the summer if he's done a great job his name should be in the mix.

@AdamMUFC24 @Rutof I'll give Carrick my backing this season. But do not want him full-time. We need to not repeat Ole. Remember the amazing run he went on and how mediocre we became than not even Ronaldo could save him.

@PeteMahon5 A terrible decision is only quantified if it turns out to be a decision that effects the outcome of the game. It didnt. We still won. With 1 of his substitutions scoring the winner. You make your own luck and any manager in this job needs some of it.

He might be, its my thoughts & opinion. I like his aura and how hes working with the current team. I'm not "going all Ferdinand" and saying give him the job. For me he gets this season to stake a claim for the job, 14 more games on top of 3 he's already done and he will then be judged on merit against other interested managers. Thats fair. So yeah, relax, god forbid a fan is happy hey? FFS

@AdamMUFC24 Well considering he was involved with Ole's stint, it does have something to do with it, along with the parallels of the caretaker manager situation. No one here needs to relax here, other than those getting carried away and going full Ferdinand "Carrick might just be the one"

OK, not sure if you were implying I was one of them.. if so you have me very misunderstood 👍 I was one of Ruben's biggest fans and gutted we got rid of him. In the end, as fans we have to move on. I'm not saying give Carrick the job, I'm saying his approach might actually be perfect for us. I'm fully onboard we get to the end of the season and swiftly make a decision and judge him fairly against others.

Relax. I like the manager, I like his approach. I said I'm not sure its long-term sustainable but quite frankly that doesnt matter.. his job is to get CL and see where we go from there. As a fan, I'm allowed to support, be happy and confident about our manager. Its got fuck all to do with Ole's stint or anyone else's. That's all.

@AdamMUFC24 Sounds like we're going back to vibes like we had with Ole, that didn't end well and he achieved no trophies. And don't even mention 2nd place, what's the prize there? If Carrick can get UCL football, it's great for the next permanent manager.

Our fanbase is so weird. We've just won 3 games in a row. We are scoring great goals, we are largely controlling games and this is what you come up with? Carrick is not responsible for most of what you just rambled about. You think he's on the pitch whispering in players ears? Weirdo, have a night off.

@AdamMUFC24 he did fuck it up today. Shouldve changed some things earlier, Ugarte throwing himself at KEvin andnoone else trying to close down. martinez + Shaw lucky that VAR took away Cuenca's goal. Maguire headloss in 2nd half, did alot of daft things.

I'm all aboard the Carrick hype train. Sometimes things just click, sometimes they don't, Ruben did a lot right, was close to having something sustainable but needed way more time to make it stick and even then there are valid question marks over would 343 ever have been long term viable for us. In the end he kickstarted a reboot, served a purpose but couldn't get it over the finish line. It didnt work out. Carrick is perfect, simple, back to basics, well drilled, good coaching he recruited and most importantly has the players playing with freedom and confidence. Can't remember a time when we had 3 shots on target and scored 3 🤯 Long may it continue. Great photo btw of your lads at the game 🔥

Some folks just need to hold their hands up and accept it’s looking far more promising under Carrick. Early days, but the tactics, substitutions, starting lineup and formation are much better than what we’d been served under RA. Suck it up.

There are five VERY VERY winnable games here. 15 points from the next 15 would put us in a very strong position for Champions League football next season.
