@cocoahomology Hah I stopped those because people didn’t know how to use a shopping list and would just yeet at the top instead of waiting for drops 😂 Maybe I need to bring them back since this account has a smaller audience who isn’t as daft!

Congrats friends. If you bought at these levels your up large. I think careful spot buys here are still good although we may chop for a bit. I added lots of BTC, ETH, and decent chunk of Aave, as well as small additions of ondo, pendle, alcx, link, sky, ena, hype and a few others. Think it’s hard to mess up buys from these zones unless you over do it with leverage or chase too much.
Adam Cochran@AdamOnFinance

For the first time in a while I’ve heavily deployed at this level. About 20% of all cash converted to spot now. Selling has been orderly and I expect more pain, and will hedge with shorts/options where needed, but I think this is a really good long term buy zone for the patient investor.

After the bounce it looks like it’s going to try and do a push of the $68k zone, which is a strong long term support range. I’d expect either the start of a reversal leg or at least another strong leg there *at latest* Ofc assuming macro doesn’t puke. If gold nukes another 10% in a day then all bets are off!

Finally in the buy zone in ETH. Took longer than I expected, and still think BTC could over push to $68k. But with such a violent flush, you should at least get a bounce first.

Misnomer. He says L2s roles for scaling don’t make sense because L1 is scaling. But he points out the benefit of specialized L2s instead of generic. Something that many of us have long said is *more* valuable than stock L2s.

Notable that Black Friday sales data shows: -A 9.1% increase spend from last year. But: -A -1% in total item volume from last year. -Prices +7% higher. -Consumers bought on average 4.1% fewer items. And: -An 11% increase on buy-now-pay-later use. -Klarna specific use up 45% by volume since last year Meaning: -Roughly 11% of ALL Black Friday spending was financed through BNPL. -And 84% of all purchases were financed by credit cards, where 67% of those consumers expect to not pay the full balance in the first month. So overall: -A total of 95% of Black Friday shopping ($11.2B) was financed. -And, 67% ($7.9B) was financed on debt that consumers do not expect to be able to pay in the next 30 days. This is the sign of a weakening and stretched consumer.
*Walter Bloomberg@DeItaone

KLARNA REPORTS 45% BLACK FRIDAY GROWTH Klarna saw a 45% year-over-year increase in U.S. sales from November 1 through Black Friday. Footwear, tech, beauty, and home goods all performed strongly. Birkenstock led footwear, Apple AirPods 4 topped tech, PS5 models led gaming, and Baccarat Rouge 540 ranked first in beauty. Ninja products dominated home goods, with mattresses jumping to second place. Klarna’s data is based on online and in-app activity during Black Friday weekend. The company serves 114 million users and 850,000 retailers globally.

What happens to MSTR when Saylor dies? One of the only merits it has is Saylor’s unhinged devotion - but, that’s almost impossible to replicate in succession. Post-Satoshi BTC had this merit that its bus number was 0. Now feels like that’s kind of increased, because any Saylor succession likely comes with a liquidation event as someone who is not a Saylor level zealot will want to capture gains (at the very least for sake of their own comp structure)

@DPGSpurs Dude of course it gave her more ammo. The President launched meme coins, max extracted, pardoned money launderers, and has ignored fraud and crime in the sector letting it run wild. That easily lets a zealot like Warren point to the space and say “there is nothing good here”

Is crypto maga ready to realize they got played? As I said, your hollow promises would give you a boost, but you sold your souls to a con man and it would lead to pain ahead. And in exchange you’ve also given people like Warren even more ammo to be anti-crypto due to the President’s grifts and pardons. You let greed cost you progress.

I mean this isn’t entirely true. A portion of the Dem party under Warren did this. Harris was very open to progressive policy on crypto, and was set to nominate a pro-crypto SEC lead who had worked in crypto. The problem is, with the problems crypto had, and how much sway Warren’s wing of the party had gathered last cycle, she really had to tiptoe on the project. There was also a lot of industry leads in crypto who flat out lied about interactions with Harris, such as having meetings and then claiming she refused to meet. Her team was taking crypto very seriously and massively shifting away from Biden era policy (which was shaped by Warren, as she was put in charge of pushing financial policy in exchange for her dropping out of the primary against Biden when he ran) I directly interacted with multiple members of her policy team, and can tell you that they were genuine when they said they wanted reasonable policy that put the US first in crypto. But because they couldn’t shout that from the rooftop without alienating some Warren Dems, they only touched on it a bit, and that got drown out by the lies from the other side about how much she hated crypto. 🤷‍♂️

@AdamOnFinance You also need to deserve the vote. Democrats did basically everything they could to get crypto people to not vote for them. Crypto people was basically treated the way Latinos are by this administration. Can't really complain if the Lations votes for the democrats next election

Markets getting crushed and did some window shopping… Not great that basically nothing seems like good value yet. Still don’t have any real appetite to buy. Maybe I’ll nibble some BTC and ETH for long term bags but honestly, meh?

The reason airdrops don’t win actual users any more, is because they give so little to *REAL* users. The whole point of a token was to be able to reward users with *meaningful* ownership upside for being a user. Teams pay more to list on third rate exchanges than they airdrop to users. And “ecosystem funds” never end up being rewards for using the chain, instead they go as team incentives to builders who end up dumping them to fund their own team. With airdrops being so small now, it gives so little alignment incentive that teams don’t earn long term users from it. So they end up wasting the money, as they’d get a much stickier conversion if they actually gave users a real chunk instead of yet another slice for investors.

“achieves a BTC yield of 26.1%” They define “yield” as the BTC holding per share. BTC is up 45.83% from their average unit cost this year. But, bag holders are only up 26.1% this year. Strategy has huge overhead and pays for all its debt instruments. Their stock price is also DOWN -29.10% in the last 6 months. So that means: -Bitcoin price +45% -Microstrategy holder net: -3% 😅 DATs are going to implode once bagholders figure out how to do math.

1/4 LMFAO The @MetaMask rewards program is next level BAD! Points: -only for swapping and perps Rewards: -Linea token drop -priority customer support (looool) -perps discount -weird fan club thing To get top level? -$6.25M in swap volume -$53,125 in fees (swaps)

4/4 No mention of any MetaMask token. No points for past wallet usage. No points for MetaMask card holders. You’re basically just buying Linea at 3x the market price 🤣 But hey, swap $125k paying a $1062 fee and you get “priority customer support” ….yay! 🤣🤣

3/4 They are also only distributing $30M in Linea tokens. If we break down current volume usage per wallet, and assume some additional wash volume from rewards, then the average user who gets the MAX level would earn: -$20k in Linea for spending $50k-$70k on fees.
