The Board of @CocaCola don't fancy finding out more about risk around ingredients, or "requesting a report evaluating the Company’s plastics packaging policies.

@JakeSnakeNC @Rengle820 I find whatever’s working/not working on the range translates to the game super well (I have a grip handle). Tested some swing changes in Golf+ and they have worked IRL, mental!

I don’t doom scroll Twitter anymore, login once every few weeks. I come on today, and it’s 99% moaning that taxing the wealthy is basically a hate crime. @garyseconomics moving the needle finally, you know what that say!

@BrewingthePast @rorysutherland @VoleTrouser Sweet lord Jesus won’t we have mercy on the wealthy set. For they know not what whey are doing. It’s only the lowly PAYE income tax payer who can “choose” to work and will know how much tax will be taken….

@BrewingthePast @rorysutherland @VoleTrouser Like those with wealth have no idea how many assets they have, accidentally came across an apartment complex they rent out to generate cash flow, couldn’t possibly liquidate anything to cover a tax liability. Oh where did this Lambo come from, crikey. My shares keep going up 😭..

The solution to the economy is to tank the housing market by taxing wealth not income. This will of course lead to a significant loss of wealth. But since 50% of wealth exists simply to help buy your children a place to live, it won't matter. We can then all spend the money on booze and hot-tubs instead, and accept that Mandeville was right all along.

@MavenPolitic Last time I checked going to a gig was a self selective cohort of people. This is relatively common of live music shows I’ve noticed. Maybe there’s an income inequality issue, tickets for this were over £50.

The level of Ethnic Segregation in English cities never fails to astound me. This video is from last night at Pantera in Birmingham, a white minority city. Check out the crowd.

@HeroicLife @R89Capital @KrangTNelson Cab tunnel. It’s a tunnel for taxi cabs. I saw a video where someone was at a red light for about 3 minutes. People transported per minute is tiny. Maybe one day open it up to other cars so they can make quicker journeys.

It’s an experiment in low cost tunnels. NYC subway expansion costs $4 billion per mile. The entire 2.2 mile Vegas Loop cost $48.7 million to build. For every $1 spent per mile on the Vegas Loop, about $181 was spent per mile on the NYC subway expansion. If a NYC-style subway was built in Vegas, $50 million would fund 66 feet. Now, a subway and the Loop are entirely different things -- and that's the point. The Loop is a quick, cheap experiment to justify further investment in public transportation. It doesn't need to handle the load of an entire city.

@Nigel_Farage We all know why Labour aren't holding a national enquiry. If Keir wasn't involved and was squeaky clean, he'd jump at the chance to throw millions into it. It's a cover-up, a failing one at that.

The decision by Labour not to hold a national public inquiry is a disgrace.

Memo to Tommy Robinson supporters: he is not in prison for ‘exposing’ anything to do with the appalling rape gang scandal (which needs an urgent public inquiry) - but because he ADMITTED contempt of court after repeating his lies about a young Syrian refugee boy.

The problem with calling for a “full & independent national inquiry” is that it will take 20 years, cost £100 trillion, brush everything under the carpet, and have zero useful outcomes. A national inquiry led by Sir Timewaster the 3rd will, as always, produce a lot of hot air and address none of the issues. The final report will be watered down by a gigantic committee of jobsworths and political agents. And anything “sensitive” will be removed/redacted/out of scope/adjusted to be politically correct. Weak leaders always prefer to pass the buck by arranging an inquiry because it absolves them of any responsibility to show they have the balls to actually do something.

So councils can be just as productive on a 4 day week? In that case, as a taxpayer, how about they work 5 days like most people and we sack 20% of them? Nobody would notice, apparently @GBNEWS @BBCNews @Channel4News

Everywhere this has been tried, productivity has rocketed, workers have been happier, and bosses have been keen to adopt it permanently. There is no rational argument against shortening the working week. Which explains why the Victorian pencil is its most vocal opponent.
