Hi, ER Doc here. Everyone needs to know that taking too much Tylenol can cause liver failure and DEATH. I have seen too many people unintentionally overdose. Do NOT take more than 4 grams in one day. That’s only 8 extra strength pills! Please tell all your friends about this.

Paramedics can initiate the majority of these impactful interventions: 1. Normothermia 2. Hypoglycaemia management 3. Seizure control 4. Hypoxia management 5. Normocapnia 6. BP control (fluids and post-ROSC ADx) 7. 30 degree head up positioning

An excellent article on post-ROSC care for paeds. Clear, detailed but accessible Post-resus care is vital to good outcomes, and "does not start in the ICU, but at the point at which ROSC has been gained" The lessons here are directly applicable to prehospital care

@NatuschOliver It certainly opens up further use by non HCPs though. Police, fire ect. And PGDs for non registered staff could be a good option.it has recently been added to the PGD for registered staff at my ambo trust. Early administration is key for #TXA to be effective

@NatuschOliver And no trials have directly compared IV vs IM in trauma for survival benefits. A lot of the research has been on animals and healthy volunteers. However, we already know the drug works, and what the evidence seems to show is IM is a viable route. 2/
