The Pistons extended their lead to end the third quarter with a lineup of: Cade Cunningham Caris LeVert Duncan Robinson Marcus Sasser Paul Reed The Pistons thrive on playing with energy and those guys (especially Reed, Sasser and Robinson) brought it to end the quarter.

Bball Paul is an absolute menace on the floor.

The Cavs fans love the flopping. Hardens latest flops cause Duren to stumble and roll his ankle. On the next trip down his flopping drew a foul.

I feel like the Pistons have done this in the first half of every series. Build a double digit lead, start throwing the ball away, let Cavs get close before halftime. If it keeps playing to script, the Cavs will go on a run to start the second half.

Doubly funny because the screener was holding Ausar, not allowing him to get to his man.

Duren is averaging double digits in the playoffs? That may be the biggest surprise about this graphic.

I’m even higher on Cade Cunningham now than I was entering the playoffs. Pistons easily have the worst supporting cast of any of the remaining teams. No matter how this postseason results for Detroit the front office has a lot of work to do this summer. Cade is playing at a level more than deserving of the investment.

@T_Wise52 I know they were making it tough on him, but after he gave the ball up, he didn’t go try to get it back. He was content watching Jenkins or Reed go one on one with the shot clock winding down. That’s my issue. Like you said, did nothing to counter it.

@AdamRuffPhoto They started doubling him just past half court, forcing the ball out of his hands. JB needed to have something to counter that, but nothing. Just content with the best player not impacting the game

Cade’s fortunate to get OT. For as good as he’s been tonight, he was pretty bad down the stretch, seemingly perfectly content not having the ball in his hands. Not what you want to see.

@5DollarBirdies It was definitely his worst shooting game. Did they even attempt to post him up in the 2nd half? I don’t think so. A lot of standing around and watching down the stretch.

Pistons absolutely melting down offensively. This is where it hurts not having an extra shooter on the floor like Robinson.

Cade Cunningham hit a 3-pointer with 6:41 left in regulation giving the Pistons a 92-89 lead. He only attempted 5 more shots over the final 11:30 of game time, making 1 shot with :25 left in OT. His lack of aggression was very uncharacteristic of him after playing a great game.

Well, at least we have the Tigers all summer long!
