@Darksidegal @nsgov I am immune compromised. I take immune suppressant drugs twice daily. Masking the children does nothing for us. This is move is ridiculous. Wouldn’t it make more sense to mask adults and lift masking in schools?

Morning Views: How do you feel about the recommendation by a group of NS doctors for students to keep wearing masks in school?

@Rl1975Ulani @globalhalifax I take immune suppression medications. I see the mental toll this has taken others. Our health care system has failed us all by not empowering us to accept responsibility for our own health.

@globalhalifax I find it interesting they rush this process and do it the day after March Break. My child is immunocompromised and I am nervous. I am also the only provider who is also immunocompromised. At the least wear masks until we see the effects of other lifted restrictions.

@globalhalifax @TimHoustonNS this is ridiculous. My kids will be so sad. It will make them not want to go to school. Is covid disappearing in a “couple” of weeks? Is there a new vaccine that the anti-vaxers approve and will take? No and no. Let’s move on.

@Adam_Delorey @globalhalifax It’s too soon. I am immune compromised as well. My father has a brain tumour, my mom has severe rheumatoid arthritis. This Province now sees my parents as expendable.

@bowden2you @Adam_Delorey @globalhalifax Stop with the hyperbole. You can take measures to protect yourself and your parents. Furthermore, if you think forcing others to vaccinate and/or use masks are going to protect your parents in any setting, you are fooling yourself.
