All First Four games should be between bubble teams. It's insane and infuriating that conference champions have to PLAY IN to the NCAA Tournament. Make the bubble teams battle it out.

A seven seed in the big ten tournament in a year you proclaimed national title or bust. Going into next season with no staff changes would be more questionable than any decision Ryan Walters ever made.

Ive met Lusk and T Johnson several times. Both seem like fine dudes. But this scheme is asinine and both should be looking for new gigs at the coaches convention this year. And for paint to support it and blame the miscues on effort makes this one of his worst coaching seasons

Something I just noticed about the Purdue vs MSU game last night. Purdue only played their best defender 19 minutes in a game he was dominating on that end. How does CJ Cox not stay on the court in a game like that? Very odd.

Rick Carlisle on Pacers' $100K fine for violating the Player Participation Policy:
"During the interview (with the NBA), they also asked if we considered medicating (Aaron Nesmith) to play in a game when we were 30 games under .500."
Carlisle said that Nesmith could not hold onto a basketball but the NBA "unilaterally decided" he should have played in the game in question, without talking to Nesmith or Pacers' doctors.

Yes... per @EvanMiya's website, the best lineup in the entire country (minimum 90 possessions) is Smith-Cox-Loyer-Benter-Cluff. We actually play 4 lineups over 90 possessions and the one we use the 2nd most is the worst

You almost wonder if it's better for Purdue just to go back to a small-ball lineup. The edge on the glass & on the defense the bigs are supposed to provide just isn't there.

The Indiana Pacers are sending their 2026 first round pick to the Clippers, but it is protected. Protections: Top 4 protected and then protected 10-30. So, if it lands 5-9, the pick goes to the Clippers, if it doesn't, it becomes an unprotected 2031 first round pick.
