The statistics that nobody in the UK wants to discuss: -24% of British Muslims openly support Hamas -22% support the Iranian Revolutionary Guards -16% support Islamic State (!) -14% support al-Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan -62% say burning the Quran should be a criminal offence -52% want to make showing images of Muhammad a criminal offence -50%+ say Jews have ‘too much power’ in banking, politics, media -48% support banning all Israeli tech from the UK health service -36% favour severing ALL political & economic ties with Israel -32% want more segregation between men & women in public spaces in Britain -26% want to reverse same-sex marriage -26% want to ban dogs in outdoor public spaces -24% say violence is ‘legitimate’ if somebody burns the Quran/makes images of Muhammad -22% think Muslim men should be able to have multiple wives -63% put their Islamic identity first; but only 12% put their British identity first All these numbers come from a new poll from JL Partners. We are not talking about small numbers of people here. We are talking about millions. And as Britain’s Muslim population is forecast to rise from 6% to 17% by the year 2050. And to then 26%+ by the end of the century, these attitudes, which are often more strongly held among younger Muslims, will only spread. Somebody in politics or media has to start a national conversation about what Muslims in Britain think and what it means for our country in the years ahead.

One thing on the pro-Palestine marches. If you accept they directly intimidate the Jewish community (which they do) then you must also acknowledge the Unite the Kingdom rallies have precisely the same effect on Muslim and other minority communities. We ban both, or neither.

This Act will hurt renters the most. Landlords are selling up or choosing not to let because of punitive terms. Many of them have decided that it’s better to leave their properties empty than to take on a tenant knowing they will have few options to evict for non-payment and the 12 month minimum lease. Better to take the loss than to take the risk. Result? Fewer rental properties, pushing rent prices up. Renters and landlords lose out. Labour farce. 🤡

Apart from the fact he rewarded Hamas for 7 October by recognising Palestine, was thanked by Hamas, dropped opposition to the fraudulent ICC arrest warrants, sent our tax money to the Hamas-infiltrated UNRWA, and failed to act on any of the previous atrocities against the Jewish community. I'd say he shoulders a lot of blame for the current situation.
