@gruber And it’s easy to toggle the red filter on/off at will via the Accessibility Shortcut. (On newer iPhones/iPads: triple-clicking the side/sleep button.)

@gruber @austinmann iOS does have a pure red astronomy-friendly mode, including the Camera view—since iOS 10 (and I like that you can choose to retain just a touch of other colors if you want):

@hkturkay I’d love that! The text engine I use to make the font size auto-shrink when needed doesn’t support them—but that may well change!

Some people have asked when Playtime will be out… It’s out! Itch.io has the release date wrong (as the date it 1st entered development) so it won’t be under Most Recent—just search for the name or “playdate clock.”

@HappiePlant Sleep is a limited low-power mode that can’t be changed. BUT when you run Playtime it prevents the normal sleep clock from appearing. UNLESS your battery drops to a level you choose (default is 50%). Then it switches to the built-in sleep clock so you always juice left for games!

Here's the final preview of some clocks in Playtime (adamsimmersive.itch.io/playtime-weird…) coming this week for Playdate. These ones are styled like screenshots from games. The hour digits "12" take up the whole background. The minute digits "03" are in front of that.
