Catcher Austin Wynns signed a minor league deal with the #Angels, I’m told. Wynns was with the #Athletics but was DFA last week. He cleared waivers and rejected an outright assignment in favor of electing free agency (his right as a player with 5+ years of service).

Fuck you, @elonmusk. Moving TweetDeck ("X Pro") behind a $500/year paywall is a shitty move. Not that you care, but TweetDeck is an accessibility feature for Quadriplegic people like me, so we don't have to scroll. Twitter was a bastion for disabled people. X is toxic trash.

@TheGiantsFan916 A strain (muscle) or sprain (ligament) is a tear. By definition. A UCL sprain (tear) almost always means Tommy John or internal brace. Add in the flexor repair, and yeah, 15 months is pretty standard.

Hayden Birdsong tells me he has seen Dr Keith Meister for a second opinion. He still hasn’t made a decision about whether he will try to rehab or get surgery for the UCL/flexor tendon/forearm strain. Theoretically with surgery he could be back midseason or so next year.
