@Esca_Fini7 @OfficialAzzaki You don’t understand. Many ppl of Plateau origin have been raised in various states, incldng Sokoto,as you mentioned,& they are living peacefully with their hosts. Those you are calling ‘guests' or‘settlers’ have actually been there for centuries, born & brought up in those communts.
English

@Adamxss @OfficialAzzaki Until its time for me to live in the sultan or emirs Palace. Anyway you can live anywhere but always remember you are a guest, and learn to respect your host simple. You insult plateau people about burukutu but don't wnt to go back to your place and enjoy your fura and nunu🤣

The most annoying thing about the Jos Religious crisis is that the State before 2001 is one of the most developed and beautiful State in Northern Nigeria. Today, Jigawa State is more Developed and beautiful than Plateau State. 80% of the Businesses in Plateau State have relocated to Kano and Bauchi State because of the Religious crisis.
Jos Terminus market, one of the biggest market in west Africa before 2001 has completely lost its glory. I don't see any winner between the Muslims and Christians in Plateau State, the only winner is reconciliation and peace.

English

@OfficialAzzaki Jos was once a thriving city known for tourism and strong economic growth, but much of this declined after the religious crises. Although it began to recover due to recent reconciliation efforts, it now appears to be slipping back into decline.
Peace unites; hatred destroys.
English

@Esca_Fini7 @OfficialAzzaki Nigerians are free to live anywhere by virtue of our Constitution. There is nothing like ‘illegal settlers,’ provided they are Nigerian citizens. Don’t give hatred a chance—reconcile among yourselves, unite, and live peacefully.
English

@OfficialAzzaki The best solution is for all illegal settlers to vacate the state and head back to their own states. Plateau is not a no man's land

How VeryDarkMan urges Plateau youths to ‘restrategise, pick up arms and kill anyone they dont know
By: Zagazola Makama
Popular Nigerian social media personality, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has stirred controversy following a viral video in which he allegedly called on youths in Plateau to “restrategise” and take up arms against perceived strangers in their communities.
In the video, which has since circulated widely across social media platforms, the influencer was heard making statements interpreted as inciting violence amid the tense security situation in parts of Plateau State.
“Anybody you see that is not from here, anybody that looks suspicious, before they get you down, get them down!” he said.
He further urged residents not to rely on government intervention, saying: “If you keep quiet and wait for the government… it won’t be the first time, it won’t be the second time… when does this stop? You promise us security, but nobody is secure!”
The content creator also appeared to call for a shift from passive reactions to active confrontation, stating: “No be only Boko Haram sabi kill, no be only bandit sabi kill. All of us fit kill… all of us na Killers, until you ready. No ever to say you no get the mind. You fit kill person. You can kill people. And for these people oh my God.
He added: “Please protect yourselves and don’t wait for the government.”
He further called on the “To the people of Rukuba Enough is Enough, Enough is Enough. Anybody wey you see wey cross your part, KILL AM
However, few hour’s after his dangerous rhetoric and emotional outbursts violence quickly began to spread in the Northern part of Plateau. The same night, some youths of Rukuba went on rampage and began targeted killings especially in the Muslim communities.
Residents of Plateau have called on security agencies to investigate and possibly prosecute all those who made inflammatory comments widely perceived as inciting violence in the state.

@AJEnglish This portrays the current realities in Palestine, where children grow up witnessing funerals of their loved ones in what is often described as the world’s largest open-air prison. This is a global shame, particularly for world leaders and the United Nations.
English

@DanielRegha Majority are doing it; it is only the left-wingers who are PR bots promoting their bosses and political movement.
English

Arewa influencers are part of whatever challenges facing the North, honestly speaking. Most be focusing on the most irrelevant things and busy playing political defense instead of steadily calling out the leaders who represent the regions or constituencies where these never-ending crisis take place.
With all that influence, they do little to nothing.
English

This is very unfortunate: a foreigner was allowed into what appears to be a mourning gathering wearing shorts and preaching divisive statements, misquoting verses and hadiths to support his rhetoric and propaganda.

The American under cover guy has returned to the Pleateau with his divisive campaign of disharmony. Somedays he will be seeing with Military kits and riffle and another day he will be seeing on shut nickers and pretending to be a missionary who preaches the word of God. @DHQNigeria @HQNigerianArmy @OfficialDSSNG

Suspected cultists kill 12 in attack on Jos community, Plateau govt imposes curfew
By: Zagazola Makama
Suspected cultists on Sunday night attacked Angwan Rukuba community in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, leaving 12 persons dead, in a fresh outbreak of violence that has prompted authorities to impose a 48-hour curfew in the area.
Security sources said the incident occurred at about 8:00 p.m. when residents of the community came under sporadic gunfire from unidentified armed men, suspected to be cultists, who stormed the area and shot indiscriminately.
Troops of Sector 1, Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), were immediately mobilised to the scene following a distress call and moved to restore order and prevent further escalation.
A security report indicated that 12 persons were confirmed dead, while several others sustained varying degrees of injuries. The injured victims were said to have been evacuated to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
The troops subsequently cordoned off major access routes to the community and ordered residents to remain indoors while a coordinated search operation was launched to track down the attackers.
Military sources added that clearance operations were ongoing to apprehend the perpetrators and prevent further breakdown of law and order in the area.
In response to the attack, the Plateau State Government, in collaboration with security agencies, announced the imposition of a 48-hour curfew on Jos North Local Government Area with immediate effect.
The curfew, which took effect from midnight of March 29 to April 1, 2026, was aimed at restoring calm and enabling security agencies to carry out intensified operations.
In a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Rt. Hon. Joyce Lohya Ramnap, the government condemned the attack, describing it as “barbaric and unprovoked.”
The statement assured residents that security agencies had been directed to ensure the arrest and prosecution of those responsible, while urging the public to remain calm and cooperate with ongoing investigations.
Security patrols were still ongoing across affected communities as authorities moved to forestall possible reprisal attacks and restore normalcy.

@Pressman2040 The man is acsing them of being thieves & says they took his motorcycle, while also asking the childrn to stop throwing stones. The setting looks like a local village with civilians, including women & chldren. It is best not to jump to conclsons without knowing what really happened.

🇳🇬💔💔😭🫡 I have watched many things, but this broke me.
Nigerian soldiers, men who leave their families, sleep in the bush, and stare death in the face daily were pelted with stones by the very people they risk everything to protect. While carrying out their lawful duty somewhere in Northern Nigeria, they were met not with gratitude, but with assault. Not with support, but with contempt.
This is what they endure. Not just bullets and bombs, but the sting of stones thrown by those they swore to defend. And still, they did not break. Still, they held their fire. Still, they stood firm with patience and professionalism that most of us will never understand.
Special thanks to those soldiers. You showed us what discipline truly means. You deserve more than stones. You deserve a nation's gratitude.
