Using British oil and gas would mean lower bills and would save British industry. But while countries like China open new coal-fired factories, Ed Miliband is trying to ban us from using our own energy reserves. His mad ideology is wrecking the country, but we can stop him 👇
Conservatives@Conservatives

Keir Starmer’s assault on our North Sea oil and gas industry is ending 1,000 jobs a month. Meanwhile he’s paying Putin to import Russian oil. That is insane. So today we are launching a campaign to Back British Oil. Sign up to join the fight ➡️ BackBritishOil.com

Any man that believes that biological men should be in women’s toilets — is not worthy of being a Prime Minister. What is it with these Labour beta males? My view is the majority view it the minority.

Tomorrow the PCS civil servants’ union is debating a motion to ‘counter a hostile Reform government’ with ‘sustained industrial action’: they are planning to go on strike if we win. This is Reform’s response. Any civil servant who seeks to undermine ministerial authority and the impartiality of the Civil Service through unlawful strike action will no longer have a job to return to. The Civil Service exists to implement the will of the government of the day. Its staff must do what duly-elected ministers ask them to do, within the law - or leave. By publicly confirming the reason for future industrial action as opposition to a specific ‘hostile’ government, the PCS have ensured their strikes cannot be considered a ‘trade dispute’ and would be unprotected and unlawful. Under section 12.1.21 of the CSMC, no appeals to the Civil Service Appeal Board will be possible in this situation. As the Shadow Home Secretary already set out, pension entitlements and any entitlement to redundancy pay may also be lost. Those who do choose to strike because, like the PCS, they disagree with the democratic decision of the British people are not only taking part in unlawful industrial action but are also in breach of the Terms & Conditions of their employment, specifically section 4.1.3 (b) of the Civil Service Management Code (CSMC): “civil servants must not take part in any political or public activity which compromises, or might be seen to compromise, their impartial service to the Government of the day or any future Government”. The fact is under a Reform UK government the Civil Service will be a much better workplace than it is today. Our plans will deliver a smaller and more highly skilled Civil Service where good work is rewarded and officials are able to make a real difference to people’s lives. A union that prioritised its own members would recognise that our agenda will be the most pro-worker in recent political history. We’re happy to work with any fair-minded trade union to develop policies to support workers. But, if the PCS don’t wish to engage reasonably they should know that we will turn their anti-democratic motion into a resounding win for a Reform UK government, the taxpayer, and the British people.

Dear Rachel, Here's the reality.... Last year I had 2 new tyres fitted to my van - £126. Today I had two new tyres fitted to the same van, same garage, same make of tyre - £165. 30% increase in one year. Diesel is up 35% since a couple of months ago. My van insurers want an extra £120 this year. I'm a Decorator and all the paint I use has had TWO price increases each year for the past few years. Some now costs approximately TWICE what it cost 6 years ago. Some trade paint is now over £100 for 5 litres. Yes it's better than cheap crap but that's a ridiculous price. But I'm just one bloke trying to earn a living. Millions are in the same boat as me. They can give you stories about the price of timber, plasterboard, electrical fittings, roof tiles and everything else they have to buy. Everything appears to be getting more difficult for everyone. In years gone by we didn't all have to worry about the cost of putting the heating on or how much we paid for the water that came out of our taps. We do now. We didn't have to search the shelves in the supermarkets for the cheapest (inferior) alternatives and we didn't get utterly ripped off when paying for parking in town centres. Our Council Tax bills, (or Rates as it used to be called), were equal to a small proportion of our income. And we got the bins emptied every week. We could actually buy rounds in the pub - Remember THAT? Many millions of people who frequented pubs can't afford to go there any more. Their village pub is probably shut now anyway. Our public services are overstretched. The NHS is ALWAYS on it's knees. Our roads are falling to bits. Parents can't get their kids into their local schools. Many people in villages, towns and cities are frightened to go out alone (or at all) due the numbers of undesirables roaming the streets and our parks. But it's OK. We're the Worlds 5th largest economy apparently and therefore a "rich" country compared to many. Perhaps that's why we can afford to give away ONE THOUSAND MILLION POUNDS every MONTH to countries who don't share our good fortune, or our wonderful public services or our national contentment in knowing we're nearly at the top of the tree. Is it any wonder that hundreds of thousands of people are just saying "bollocks to this" and either stopping work or buggering off to live somewhere else? My advice to any young person would be - Go! It might not work out for you but at least you've had a try, probably had some fun, learnt a lot about yourself and the World and maybe met someone you can share your life with. You can always come back again and help the local council empty the bins every 3 weeks.

Andy Burnham says men who identify as women should be able to use women's toilets. Why would any woman - or any man who cares about the women + girls in his life - vote for ANY candidate who doesn't respect women's rights and safety? It's a deal breaker. dailymail.com/news/article-1…

🚨 NEW: Sources close to Rupert Lowe and the Restore Britain team have revealed that there is a big split at the top of the party. Rupert wants to contest the by-election ‘even if it means a Burnham premiership’, others have said that standing is a mistake and ‘unpatriotic’.

Look at this sad bunch in the pic — bunch of middle-aged blokes and a few pensioners stood outside some rundown shop in Makerfield. The full Restore Britain 'dream team' thinking they're about to storm the place. Reform wins this by a mile, you're not even in the conversation. Zero seats, zero impact, zero self-awareness. History in the making? Nah, just a sad Tuesday morning photo of the hopeless brigade who'll be lucky to scrape 5%.

Tuesday morning turnout in Makerfield - Restore Britain teams are going to be out all day, every day, until the election. The odds are tumbling on a Restore Britain win, now as low as 9/2. History in the making. We can win this.

Smug, self promoting, and most importantly, he is using the people of Makerfield as a stepping stone. Andy Burnham pretending he doesnt want to go back in the EU, but im sure that will change if and when he gets in parliament.😒
