And they know it which is why they’re rejecting FOI Simon Mulvany & The Clean Ocean Foundation has been predicting the for 4yrs, the high probability of a “Red tide” algae bloom. The desalination plant in Lonsdale, doesn’t monitor the “brine” it puts back into the ocean nor does the WA desalination plant (the current travels from WA down SA coast) It’s 💯pollution that’s causing South Australia’s red algae bloom crisis. It’s glaring signal our oceans are in trouble, choked by nutrients, pesticides, fertilizers, and contaminants like PFAS and sewage spilling from 192 ocean outfalls and rivers like the Murray. This has NOTHING to do with Climate Change & everything to do with mismanagement of “outfalls” into our oceans! This is THE GOVERNMENTS FAULT!!!
