Cranking out an obedient slave class that won't revolt is the sole reason industrialists created compulsory, state run "education". And it's been a huge success for them.
Not for children.
People reject the unschooling philosophy because 99% of society cannot fathom living and learning with their kids in an interest-led, real world, self-motivated, non-coercive way that prioritizes accomplishing personal goals and pursuing passions over producing barely literate docile worker bees who have had the love of learning beat out of them by glorified babysitters with they/them pronouns shilling arbitrary, rote memorization and forced "socialization" with the offspring of uncultured swine.

there's also life ending birth defects where abortion is kinder.

A lot of feminist women are living this life. A lot of feminist women actively want an equal partner and children. There are literally no men who inspire confidence in us any more for us to put ourselves through marriage and pregnancy. Ask women. Listen to women. It’s a shitshow. Men are simply in denial. Feminism didn’t take anything away from men or the idea of building a family, shitty men did. Lying, cheating, abusive, manipulative men convinced women to give up on the thought of being happy with men.

It’s about as scientific as me asking 13 year old boys how many super models they’ve dated. The fact is men read a LOT less than women and the books they list as “philosophy” are closer to self-help (highly effective MLMs, lobsters, business 4 boys)

I think its more nuanced. Feminism is part of the left wing platform in the U.S. For that platform to succeed politically it still requires a degree of support from males. The right wing tends to push this idea that women do not respect liberal men as sexual partners and if you want to attract women its better to be conservative. Straight women signaling their attraction to more left leaning men fights that narrative. So its not about the individual man, but signaling that straight women do view liberal men as viable sexual partners.
