🫁 The disease is called EVALI. First identified in 2019. Over 2,800 hospitalizations in the first year alone. The damage mechanism is constrictive bronchiolitis permanent scarring of the smallest airways. No treatment reverses it. The scarring is for life. Vaping was introduced as the safe alternative to smoking. It took cigarettes decades before the lung cancer data was undeniable. Vaping has had about 10 years. We are now at the beginning of that data curve, not the end of it.
