To me it's clear Amad was fouled, and United should have a penalty before the Bournemouth goal. It's a poor on field decision, and VAR's priority being not to make waves is a problem so often. No issue with the Maguire red, but it's a very similar incident, no consistency. #MUFC

@danielstorey85 Haven't read the article, I will but travelling at the minute, but I think it's symbolic of a deeper societal issue where the focus of discourse has heavily shifted to being angry about things we don't like instead of celebrating what we do and general deepening polarisation

I like that VAR overturn for the pen. Ref booked him for diving, so when you see there's contact it is a clear and obvious error. Ref should always tell VAR why they didn't give it eg handball, if the Ref doesn't think he touched it is different to natural position etc #BHABOU
