Maybe this is a hot take, but requiring actors to actively participate in a Discord server to be eligible for casting feels strange to me. Casting should be based on performance, reliability, and fit for the role. Not on how present someone is in a community server. It also quietly filters out working professionals who simply do not have time to stay socially active in multiple studio Discords. Feels more like community growth strategy than casting practice.
