@WayneGb88 Because they’re healthcare workers and don’t want to have to go to a polling station at the end of or beginning of a long shift?

@LizKershawDJ You haven’t paid into it for years - your contributions paid for your parents and elder generation pensions, your pension will be paid for by the current tax paying generation. It’s not an entitlement, and you can choose not to claim it, saving taxpayers money.

@adeleparks Pale teal with a mural of Thai boat and seascape on one wall. Various memorabilia eg football scarfs, feather boas. 2 mirrors to catch all angles. And the ubiquitous floordrobe…

@SimonCalder It’s an oasis of calm before the flight and avoids the crowds in the shops. Is often cheaper than paying for outrageously priced airport food outlets too.

@Rylan Glad your mum is getting the help she needs. To help the NHS better, rather than pay for private treatment, please donate extra funds directly to the wards/clinics/charities. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn’t help waiting lists or others if you go private route.

@JeremyVineOn5 @SangitaMyska @cristo_radio @alexisconran Cynically one wonders if it’s the ‘silver vote’ that the current government is appealing to. Of course it’s the workers taxes that pay for the pensioners, so wouldn’t an increase in workers wages help fund the pension bill?

Are pension rises unfair on workers?
Rishi Sunak said he will honour the triple lock.
It could mean pensioners are in for a 7% increase next year.
Is it fair pensioners are getting a rise, as workers struggle?
