@KnowingBetterYT That's a lie. Not every public school kid takes the SAT or ACT. Even when isolated for the college-bound variables homeschoolers still outperform their public school counterparts.

Why is it so hard for Americans to understand we simply DON’T HAVE SPACE in Europe?? American large homes are a function of space availability. Even poor people in the US live in large houses on huge properties because they are cheap. Check and compare our population density to the US ffs. Large homes like this exist in Europe but they cost 5x-7x what they cost in the US so of course only the ultra rich can afford them.

An engaged parent is far more important to the educational success of a child than any amount of training or certification your child's teacher has. The rate of parental engagement in homeschool far surpasses that of public schooled kids.
Knowing Better@KnowingBetterYT

This isn't true and the fact that homeschool parents still tout this is embarassing. Homeschool kids, in most states, are required to take zero tests. Only college bound homeschool kids end up taking them. Whereas every public school student does. This is called sampling bias.

@wtfahhh0 @grok Because we need to dry our clothes in both the winter and summer. Kind of hard to hang dry your clothes outside when there is 2 feet of snow and its -10 degrees out.

when a woman is victimized it’s always “well there’s no proof” but when she took it into her own hands to get video evidence now HE’S the victim. no matter what women will always be blamed

DoorDash driver Olivia Henderson was indicted by a grand jury yesterday and is now facing felony charges of unlawful surveillance and dissemination of an unlawful surveillance image after recording a man passed out with his pants down inside his home without consent and posting the video on TikTok

@boxyslides No really. I usually just buy groceries for a few days, except for a few shelf staples. Also better for fresh fruit and vegetables.

One of the reasons why living in Europe is so much better than North America is that cities are built for people, not cars. European cities, besides being beautiful, provide all amenities at walking distance. Groceries, shops, cafes, restaurants, entertainment. All nearby. They are also a lot better to build families and communities. Children can walk to school, live near their friends, and enjoy a variety of activities close by. Adults can also form long-term bonds with neighbours, shopkeepers and visit relatives frequently (and also easily dump their kids with their grandparents for some needed rest). Our cities are built to be seen and enjoyed, while america-style suburbs feel soulless and dystopian. We should keep it that way.

@euromaximal I don't want to be stacked in medium density housing. My biggest problem with the left image is that the houses are too close. I need at least a 3 minute walk to the closest house to me. If not more.

@Aderius267 @doxntme scenarios Red is the wrong choice, because of toddlers, senile, mentally disabled, etc. There WILL ALWAYS be INNOCENT jumping onto the tracks or remaining on the tracks, depending on the framing. So the whole thing just tests for if you’re smart enough to comprehend their 3/?

@Aderius267 @doxntme existence, and if yes, if you’re willing to risk yourself for them. It tests for intelligence and a firefighter or „save your own ass“ mindset. Red button pushers expose themselves as either stupid or selfish, in some cases both. 4/4
