Today marks the 4th day of bus lanes in #Kigali.
Buses are moving faster, and the city is flowing better for everyone. This is a modern, organised, people-centred Kigali.
And this is only the beginning. More bus lanes and better public transport are on the way.
📌 PLEASE NOTE:
Dedicated bus lanes are now in use on four key corridors across Kigali:
1️⃣ Downtown – Remera (ku Cyamitsingi) via Rwandex and Sonatube
2️⃣ Sonatube – Nyanza ya Kicukiro
3️⃣ Downtown – Nyabugogo via City Centre Roundabout
4️⃣ Hotel Gloria – Downtown via Quartier Commercial

UTCT (Ultra Trail Cape Town) I signed up for this race last minute from the constant pressure from @Limo_kipkemoi @freemanwangoe1 and @AdiePrestone To them, my reasons for not signing up (that I wasn't ready or properly healed) were just excuses. So I was on the start line. This year alone I have less than 100km cummulative mileage of running. The plan was to push as far as I could, but I hoped I could atleast get an ultra distance. I picked a comfortable slow pace. I nearly missed some critical cut off times along the route but there was no way to move any faster without real risk of further injury. After 92kms of constant pounding, the leg could not take any more steep descents and I had to call it a day. Out of the 4 Kenyans, 3 went ahead to finish the 100 mile distance. Congratulations! I wish to thank them for pushing me to join them and test how far the mind can defy perceived physical limitations. Now @AdiePrestone can stop calling me kiwete 😅. #goodfriends #trailrunning #CapeTown
