Hey IndiGo (@IndiGo6E) — do you have any sense of basic humanity? Flight 6E 6208 (Goa → Ahmedabad) on 18 Dec landed at 7:00 PM. Due to a bomb threat, passengers were detained, scanned, and kept isolated for over 5 HOURS, finally released at 12:15 AM. During this entire ordeal, your idea of “care” was: • a tiny pack of rice crackers • popcorn • juice & water No warm food. No proper meal. No alternatives. We were not allowed to leave, not allowed to buy food, and effectively held captive — yet you couldn’t arrange even basic hot meals for passengers stuck due to your operational emergency. This isn’t cost-cutting — this is gross negligence and complete disregard for passenger welfare. Budget airline or not, basic human dignity is not optional. Posting late only because real life work resumed after this unnecessary trauma.

The Indian Government really needs to take up a deep systemic clean-up of departments like Customs, GST, Land Registry, and RTO. These institutions, in their current state, often act like termites—slowly eating away at efficiency, trust, and fairness, affecting everyone who comes in contact with them.

Since the Customs department is in the news, I thought I'd tell a Customs story. A friend of mine got a book from abroad, sent to him by the author. It was addressed to him as Mr. Surname (since the actual name isn't relevant to this story). The customs sought an ID from him to claim it, but then declined to release the package, saying the ID said his name is First-name Surname and not just Surname. So he got the author to send the book again with the full name this time and just ignored the first package. This time, he had the right ID but Customs still declined to clear his package saying that his ID was already 'in the system' as the ID of Mr.Surname, and therefore he could not use the same ID to claim that he is Mr.Firstname Surname. Eventually, someone traveling to India just brought the book. And the other two? Probably just counted as GDP growth!

It converts AC to DC, and the DC is then supplied to the battery at a constant voltage.
