@MuslimDeeDat @sneako The disputes between family of RasulAllah sawas and the three personalities is recorded in the books of history. In hadith, Shia books say it openly while Sunni books imply it and try to explain away the disputes.

@MuslimDeeDat @sneako The Qur'an is authenticated and transmitted by Imam Ali (as) is a Shia position. But it is not specific to shia. If you have a mushaf printed in Saudi Arabia, at the back of it you will see the names of the original compilers and one of them is Ali (as).

@MuslimDeeDat @sneako I could give you such sources but it would be irrelevant to your objection about the logic of shia beliefs and the Qur'an. I hope it is clear to you that our belief system is logical and does not contradict the authenticity, transmission, and acceptance of the Qur'an.

@MuslimDeeDat @sneako Our view of these three personalities is a separate issue. Your question was about the Quran for which I have provided you sufficient argument. Conclusion: Shia take the Qur'an from Ali (as) and do not have to rely on AbuBakr, Umar or Uthman.

@MuslimDeeDat @sneako You don't follow because of your ignorance of the shia doctrine, which was my first point. Quran's compilation was in the hands of Imam Ali (as). What we have right now is the recitation of Hafs ibn Sulayman from Asim from Abu Abdul Rahman from Imam Ali (as).

@MuslimDeeDat @sneako The Qur'an was revealed to Rasulullah (sawas) not to Abubakr, Umar or Uthman. The foremost student of RasulAllah sawas was the one he raised himself, our first Imam, Ali (as) and knowledge was passed down from one Imam to the next. Ali has authority over all else.

Your Imams came before Abu Bakar, Umar and Uthman? Or after? If they came after why do they have any authority over people trained by Prophet Muhammad PBUH himself? Again I am trying to understand why do you trust Quran to be true word of Allah if you consider these men to be corrupt?

@MuslimDeeDat @sneako We have hadith from our Imams (as) verifying and authenticating the Qur'an. Abi bakr, Umar and Uthman were not scholars of the Qur'an and did not claim so themselves. So not trusting them has no bearing on the authenticity of the Qur'an. We trust our 12 imams.
