Ground reality is different. So there is one extended relative of mine whose daughter is short in height (below 5 feet), and they were struggling to find a groom for her. Eventually they found one. Not only that, but the bride's parents gave 25 lakh in cash, 1 kg gold, 10 kg silver, and all the extra things. They even gave gold sets to the entire member of the groom's family because the girl was short in height. If you feel like India is getting progressive, everyone is accepting their own body, but on ground level this is still not true. People still get judged on their height, colour, face, weight, eyes, nose, voice and everything; if you aren't good enough, you need to compensate in some other way.

You might agree or disagree with @ravish_journo ‘s journalism. But always remember the cost he paid for his principles. It is not an ordinary thing to do. Being anti-establishment as a principle is not an easy thing to do when you know what can be the benefits of compromises.
