A thing to prepare people for is that US and Israeli operations will almost surely scale back before the regime is technically collapsed. Troops might hold Kharg Island. Probably will. But the bombings will slow down. The idea of escalating in any way will be dead. And it'll look like Trump has just called it quits. There will be this whole debate about whether TACO has returned and whether that's actually great and if Israel finally stopped controlling Trump!!! It'll all be nonsense. We will have left when the regime is already on its way down. Things take time to reach their conclusion, even when the outcome is already determined. Just be prepared for that.
