It is now clear that Peter Obi is going to the NDC because he is afraid of direct primaries and prefers a free ticket. Obi has never, in his political journey, gone into primaries with anyone; he always seek for a free ticket. The NDC promised Obi a free ticket for their own benefit, and that his joining them could strengthen the party and generate income. The concern is that both the ADC, NDC, and APM will lose to the APC if they do not unite. All this disagreement is to Tinubu’s advantage.

@U_Rochas Sir, he doesn't own any party and doesn't plan to own one. He's not a politician, he's a veteran, disciplined, committed and transparent leader whose character is rare. Politicians play tricks, he plays conscience. He doesn't just move, he has young people directing him.

Because of his political ambition, he keeps moving young, innocent Nigerians from one party to another. Why not build your own party? No. Why not stay and develop one? No. Instead, he uses his supporters as political bargaining chips, without considering their future. Now he wants to take them to the NDC to start all over again. The Obidient movement is a political commodity in the hands of Peter Obi.

Team up as President and Vice, or team up with one supporting the other, that’s the only way to win, but you must be a team.

@Pharmacio001 @Uptownoflagos Why do you think you need Obi to win everything for you? If you have the capacity and momentum as you claimed, let Obi go his own way and fight your battle alone, or you need him to fight for you so that you can use him for your selfish interest.

𝐎𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐮𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐛𝐢 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐨! If Obi does not become president, or vice president in 2027, he may never be in 2031 or anytime in the future. This is because only a capable and genuine alliance with the North will enable any southern candidate, most especially one from the south east, to win the presidential election in this country. Obi's current attitude and body language toward the ADC coalition will set a precedent; it will determine whether he can be trusted in future political alliances or if he is even worthy of leading this complex country, Nigeria. There are several factors pointing at him right now. Obi can decide to do whatever pleases him now, but the worst decision he could make would be to inadvertently aid Tinubu’s reelection in 2027. If he mistakenly allows himself to be caught in that narrative, he will pay for it, politically. The reality is that Tinubu will not be president forever; in the worst-case scenario, he will leave office by May, 2031. Will Obi then have the nerve to ask the North, which already feels shortchanged in the presidential equation, to support him after Tinubu’s tenure? Or will he agree to be a running mate to people like Kwankwaso, El-Rufai, Shettima, or anyone else from the North in 2031? Or will he wait until 2039 to contest again? If Obi does not focus on refining his image and optimizing his chances now, his support base will dwindle, and he will soon be forgotten in the scheme of things. 2027 is a defining moment! Kwankwaso is likely to agree to whatever conspiracy, or offer Obi presents. He has little to lose; as long as he can defeat Abba in Kano, he would be satisfied with any arrangement. After all, he has the opportunity to become a running mate now through the "OK" (Obi-Kwankwaso) alliance. Should Tinubu win the next election, Kwankwaso will still have the opportunity to give another shot at the presidency in 2031 without Atiku as a major contender. Kwankwaso has a clear objective, so his political maneuvers will not come as a surprise. Atiku has clearly stated that this will be his last shot at the presidency. If he does not win in 2027, or even becomes a presidential candidate, he will not contest again. Therefore, those in the ADC working behind the scenes to help Tinubu win in an attempt to sabotage Atiku are indirectly shooting themselves in the foot. They may succeed now, but will cry in the future. Atiku may not become president, but his name is already written in gold. Regardless of the outcome of the 2027 elections, his contributions toward strengthening Nigeria's democracy are top-notch and will never be forgotten. There is no level of impunity that the APC is not capable of, but they can be stopped if the opposition remains united. Believe it or not, regardless of which party the opposition leaders join, if President Tinubu wants to cause internal friction, he will! Stay together in the ADC, be sincere, and end the hypocrisy, greed, envy, and sabotage. Your unity is what gives the APC sleepless nights. If you stay united, you are stronger and can win. If you remain disunited, then forget it; your present and future are already compromised. Court cases are being used to suffocate the opposition, and this is only possible because some opposition leaders have chosen to be "in bed" with the APC.

Please promote your candidate and leave Peter Obi to play his politics. I wonder how it will affect you if "they" give him 3 million votes this time around. May I ask, how many would you have won? Your Dele Momodu style won’t cut it. Since you know PO intentionally did not attend that meeting and even know the motive behind it, what do you have to say about the blatant electoral act that would leave the decision of ballot papers' authenticity to the discretion of the returning officers? You see, you leave the issue, pursuing shadows. Y'all need to leave Peter Obi alone. Nigerians are solidly behind him no matter the party he joins. All lies peddled against him will crumble. And you know it. That's the part you find difficult to accept. Well, his stars have aligned because he is the favored one.

2027: Terse Open Letter To Peter Obi Dear H.E. @PeterObi, be a man with balls of steel. Live up to the sobriquet, "Okwute Ndigbo" (Rock of the Igbo Nation). Stop playing sneaky games with your coalition partners in the main opposition ADC, by intentionally avoiding to attend recent stakeholders' meetings. Sending representatives to these all-important meetings would suffice. It's either you are in or out before it's too late to navigate in such a calamitous whirlwind. Dear PO, be guided that these behind-the-scene powers that be in Nigeria and digital ego-tripping machines advising you to jump ship at this auspicious moment in Nigeria's chequered history will abandon you when push comes to shove. Since you are purportedly interested in your personal aggrandisements, and do not care if you are going to be jeopardizing the political future of the Igbo nation (South East Geo-Political Zone), a nation of over 50 million people, within the next four, five, or six years from now, we wish you goodluck. Dear Obi, be reminded that illustrious Igbo sons like us who can look you in the face and tell you the bitter truth must be appreciated by you, rather than strangers from the North, South South, and South West massaging your ego online and offline, and making highfalutin promises to you that you got the 2027 presidency in the bag, even if you run solo without the coalition partners. Needless litany of sermons this evening. Events of the coming days, weeks, and months will reveal whether we are right or wrong today in our political permutations for 2027.

On behalf of the Government and people of Lagos State, I express my sincere gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Executive Council for the approval of Phase 1A of the Lagos Green Line Rail Project. This project is a significant milestone for our state. The Green Line will span approximately 68 kilometres, linking Marina to the Lekki Free Trade Zone, with about 17 stations serving key locations including Victoria Island, Ajah, and the wider Lekki corridor. It will serve up to 500,000 passengers daily at inception with the capacity to increase to about one million over time. With the ability to move up to 35,000 passengers per hour in each direction, the line will reduce travel time and relieve pressure on our road network. This project reflects our commitment to improving mobility, supporting economic growth, and enhancing the quality of life for Lagosians. We value the continued support of the Federal Government and remain focused on delivering a system that meets the needs of our people.

The situation is clear: both will deputise for each other, whether now or in 2031. Kwankwaso will contest for the presidency in 2031, and he'll ask Obi to deputise for him—just as Obi is asking Kwankwaso to deputise for him now. I hope that when Kwankwaso seeks Obi’s support in 2031, Obi will return the same respect Kwankwaso will shows him in the 2027 election, where he may serve as his running mate. Whether it’s KO or OK, both scenarios could happen at different times. Nigeria will be OK…, KO?
