Throwing money at this will not work. Remove unnecessary bureaucracy and allow teachers to do what they came into teaching for, make a difference in the lives of children. Ofsted should be less punitive and more supportive and collegiate. Let's have more teachers enjoying it.

I think friendliness and general niceness towards people is far better than saying nothing. But there is a lot to think about here in terms of how I acknowledge people.

I don’t know if I’m being oversensitive but I always feel uncomfortable when an unknown man (eg checkout guy at @AldiUK ) refers to me as ‘love’. I find it v. patronising. Is it just me? Should I challenge? #Feminism @GuiltFemPod @DrJessTaylor #Mansplaining #womenempowerment
