The us is better funded then them when you adjust for land and population size, around 7-8 trillion dollars in tax revenue today. We could fund universal basic healthcare in the entire us if we wanted to, using a fraction of that. Not really sure what you’re getting at here.

This post proved to me that you have zero understanding of economic and political systems. You are referring to communism, which is the most radical type of socialism. Socialism isn’t one specific regime with dictator and you can’t own anything. Socialism is a broad term that has many ideals many of which we alr use and you benefit from. The Interstate highway system, many international airports, scholarships, public schools, school busses, public transit, and more are all ideas rooted in socialism. Ofc hypercaptalism is also very very bad, and I’m not saying socialism is the end all be all good and capitalism all bad. There have been capitalist dictatorships, and socialist democracies (Norway, Sweden to name two) who repeatedly score on the top of happiness indexes. Educate yourself and then come back.
