@ring Why can't we arm the ring alarm with the front door open, without bypass? Arming the alarm should be the last thing to do, not the first. I have to get kids outside and in the car, shut myself inside, arm, walk out and lock. Nonsensical

@ring And for partners that can't /won't use the app? The app is supposed to be helpful, not required. Fundamentally it would be a tiny but effective change to allow the front door to be monitored as long as its closed by the END of the exit delay. Can you please pass this on?

@AdrianLucia2 Thanks for clarifying this. The Keypad is a great way to arm and disarm your Ring Alarm System. @ring Yes I can use app. But then what's the point of the keypad? So your solution is to get everyone out and ready inside 3 minutes? I'm a great parent but not superman

@ring Picture the scene. You've 3 young kids. You're in and out of the house getting them in the car, bags, teddies etc as well. Front door open for a while during this. I have to shut myself in the house to arm properly . Or use the app? (and good luck getting my partner to do that)

@HalifaxBank The team that were dealing with is outbound calls only. They don't give out email addresses The transfer dept. don't have a phone number. All the paperwork I have quotes account numbers that don't exist as of last weekend The main Halifax call centre's have no idea
