my friend learned C as his first programming language during his computer science degree. he quit after the first semester i learned Python as my first programming language during my computer science degree and i finished the major feel free to draw your own conclusions

@ykdojo Exactly, you have to get the discipline to function at your maximum when yoy don't feel like it. And if you have't already make a schedule, it's invaluable.

When you're in a good mood, get stuff done. When you're in a neutral mood, get stuff done. When you're in a negative mood, get stuff done. When you're tired, then take a rest.

@scrumtuous It really depends on how well I sleep. Some times I wake up after 6 hours feeling like I slept for a whole day, other times I wake up tired after 8. The main factor is to be consistent, go to sleep at the same hour and also try to say no to any toughts.
