The King and Queen have arrived in Ulster for a visit, a celebration of culture, music, and creativity. Their Majesties are making an unannounced trip to British Belfast and started by touring parts of the Titanic Quarter, a major tourist attraction area in the city.

I see Tourism NI are encouraging the use of “the North” instead of Northern Ireland in some circumstances. As a publicly funded body, it should remain impartial and avoid alternative political terminology. The politicisation of publicly funded bodies is becoming increasingly blatant and unacceptable. This is Northern Ireland, and there should be no issue saying it proudly.
