@AdvanceAuto just a heads up I’m filing a BBB complaint against your company for predatory practices and failure to accept my proof of purchase despite your flawed system. You sold me a bad battery, and are refusing to acknowledge the warranty despite proof of purchase.

Off topic... Just went into @AdvanceAuto to buy a pair of front sway bar end links for a 20+ year old car, 10 bucks a piece. The lady wanted my phone number and I told her "No thank you." She told me she needed a phone number to enter, so I said "555-1212" and she asked me if I'd made that up 🤣. So, she then proceeded to tell me I wouldn't be able to claim the Lifetime Warranty on the $10 end links and I told her, the likelihood of me actually using that warranty was exactly zero! She didn't get it, but she finished ringing me up anyway. I don't want to give my phone number to every store in the world. If you want to offer a warranty, offer it. Don't make me give you my phone number to do it, because I know and you know, you'll sell my phone number to some company that will then send crap to my phone.

@AdvanceAuto Bought a tractor battery at 2pm. Went to return at 7pm with receipt and they wouldn’t take it back because I hooked it up to try and start tractor. Hope the $49 was worth losing a customer for life.

Customer service at its finest... Ordered this stupid little tool from @AdvanceAuto. Found it on clearance and in stock at a nearby store. Drove 30+ minutes... "Oh sorry, we don't carry that brand anymore, ot's discontinued. But if you want, I have the same thing for $16".

@AdvanceAuto app is so bad. Example: search for "fluid transfer pump" (best match). Results list: chemical transfer pump, fuel transfer pump x 4, fluid exchanger, and finally an actual "fluid transfer pump" that they carry in stores and people use on a regular basis. So bad.

@AdvanceAuto Poor customer experience. Store recommended bug and tar remover. I used one spray to see if it worked. It didn’t. A shoulder shrug. That’s the chance you take. So shopping is like a lottery??No wonder Amazon is kicking butt.
