Amazing start to our 13U Astros first tourney- #2 seed from their 2 - 0 pool play wins today-they scored 26 total runs over 2 games. The boys celebrated their victorious day over Raising Cane's for dinner. Up next for the #2 seed- bracket play at 11am tomorrow vs BBA West 13U.

Hanging Back is characteristic that is often mistakenly taught to young pitchers. As a pitcher lifts their stride leg, their pelvis should begin to move towards home plate immediately. If they stay vertical, they are Hanging Back. This can limit velo and deception.

Most athletes have movement limitations because of a physical restriction, but some have movement limitations because the brain doesn’t want them to move that way, usually as a result of past injury/pain.

Nate Schnare pitched three innings of no hit ball and recorded 5Ks in the Astros Driscoll 13-0 semifinal win at the Legacy Fall Championships.  The Astros will play at 4pm in the finals @ Mary Washington University.  Go Astros!
