Bro abroad is good, even me I’m planning to go but the topic here is that mindset that you will make huge money for building houses or hotel with money you made from abroad, what work is that that’s paying that much. With 9 to 5 outside Nigeria you will be very comfortable but we are talking about being wealthy

The South-East still covers for IPOB. The Army released video proof, yet they got angry. The North pampers its own, and the SE does the same. What Boko Haram is to the North, IPOB is to the SE. One thing is certain: Yoruba people will never pamper terrorism. We call it out.

A First Class Graduate Working As a Waiter Represents the Dignity of Labour And Isn't A Shameful Thing Please fact-check me: According to research published by The Economist Magazine, 16% of all waiters working at American restaurants, representing 317,000 people, have university degrees. Another 80,000 American bartenders also hold university degrees. That does not mean that the American economy is collapsing. The United States is still the largest economy on Earth and the most affluent nation on the planet. When I took this photo in 2002, I was working at a bar in England while studying for my Master of Laws. The job helped me pay my school fees, and I had multiple colleagues in the same category as me. Some of my classmates worked at McDonald's, and these were not undergraduates. These were British and Commonwealth students studying for a Master's. That a First Class graduate works as a waiter at a restaurant is an expression of dignity in labour. It is not peculiar to Nigeria. Working as a waiter is an excellent opportunity to gain business experience and develop customer service skills. Jeff Bezos began his career as a cook at McDonald's. Nigeria has just been recognised by the International Monetary Fund as one of the fastest-growing economies on Earth, with our Gross Domestic Product expected to surge by 4.1% this year alone. And last year, the IMF recognised our nation as the sixth-largest contributor to global GDP growth in 2025, a fact Elon Musk, the world's richest man, also celebrated. That being the case, I call upon all Nigerians to do their best to sustain this growth trajectory, rather than attempt to damage it by de-marketing our beloved country on local and global stages. May God bless Nigeria. Reno Omokri Ambassador Designate to Mexico. Gospeller. Deep Thinker. #TableShaker. #1 Bestselling author of Facts Versus Fiction: The True Story of the Jonathan Years. President Tinubu Delivers Again As IMF List Nigeria Among The World's Fastest Growing Economy Yesterday, the International Monetary Fund projected that Nigeria would have one of the fastest-growing economy in the world in 2026. Only a handful of nations, such as India, China ranked above Nigeria. You may want to read the IMF projections yourself here: x.com/imfnews/status… While the IMF projected 6.5% GDP growth for India in 2026 and 4.4% for China, Nigeria's growth projection for 2026 is 4.1%. This is a spectacular achievement for a country that was on the verge of financial collapse when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was sworn into office on 29 May 2023. At that time, our debt service-to-revenue ratio was critical, reaching 96%, a figure that fell below 50% in 2025 and is expected to further decline in 2026. These new figures from the IMF, published yesterday, corroborate a February report by The Economist Magazine that noted Nigeria's "golden years" are likely to return under President Tinubu's reforms. And it is no surprise that the same IMF listed Nigeria as the sixth-largest contributor to global GDP growth in 2025, a fact celebrated by Elon Musk, the world's richest man. The reforms by President Bola Tinubu are bearing fruit, and, coincidentally, just as the President was declaring open the new headquarters of the Nigerian Revenue Service, Quartus Economics recently revealed that, for the first time ever, Nigeria's tax revenue has overtaken income from oil and gas. Quartus Economics, in a report titled “Nigeria Unshackled: Inside the Steady Rise of a Fiscal State", exposed that between 2023 and 2025, an estimated ₦62.3 trillion was earned from taxes alone, with the non-oil sector contributing the highest proportion. This is the Nigeria we have all dreamed of for many years. A country that is not dependent on a finite resource, such as fossil fuels, for its revenue. And this is only happening because we have a First Class Accountancy graduate as President who also has the courage to implement painful but necessary reforms. Reforms, like the removal of fuel subsidies, which have moved Nigeria from being the largest importer of fuel in Africa in 2023, to the single biggest exporter of refined petroleum products in West Africa in 2026. Reforms, such as the Naira's flotation, have led to a massive influx of foreign direct investment into Nigeria. And the inflow of FDI has driven the expansion of our capital market, as the total market capitalisation of the Nigerian Exchange, which stood at ₦27.915 trillion on December 30, 2022, before President Tinubu's inauguration in 2023, hit ₦122 trillion in January of 2026, which we thought was unprecedented. That is almost five times what it was before you were elected. But what we thought was unprecedented has now been precedented, with the All Share Index hitting the 200,000-point mark on Monday, March 16, 2026. These macroeconomic indicators are trickling down to the masses, which is why in the last two years, our GDP has expanded by $67 billion, rising from ₦269.29 trillion on May 29, 2023, when Asiwaju became President, to ₦372.8 trillion today. And we have enjoyed twelve cycles of not only GDP growth but also trade surpluses. And in the area of public works, no other administration in the history of Nigeria has democratised road construction to the extent that the Tinubu government has done, simultaneously connecting the Southwest with the South-South via the 750-kilometre Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway being built for ₦15 trillion, linking the Northwest to the Southwest with the 1068-kilometre Illela-Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway costing ₦13 trillion, and bridging the gap between the Southeast and the entire North through the 465-kilometre Trans-Saharan Road being constructed at a price of an estimated $750 million.

ARMY STRIKES IPOB/ESN STRONGHOLDS, RECOVERS EXPLOSIVE, RANSOM FUNDS Troops of the Nigerian Army (NA) under Operation EASTERN SANITY have intensified offensive operations across the South-East, decisively overrunning IPOB/ESN strongholds and pushing the criminal elements into disarray. Relentless pressure mounted by the troops, backed by superior firepower, intelligence and joint-force synergy, has continued to expose the group’s weakening structure and inability to withstand sustained military action. On 14 April 2026, joint troops of Sector 1, supported by the Air Component of Operation UDO KA, launched a precision strike and clearance operation in Ajali Forest, Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State. The offensive forced IPOB/ESN elements into a chaotic retreat, abandoning critical assets, including an anti-tank Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The failed attempt to deploy the device underscores the group’s desperation and declining operational competence. The IED was safely secured by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Security team, averting potential harm to troops and civilians. Troops have since established firm dominance over the general area, sustaining aggressive clearance operations and systematically dismantling all terrorist infrastructure. The deliberate destruction of hideouts using chainsaws and bulldozers has stripped the criminals of cover, leaving them exposed, scattered and unable to regroup or mount any meaningful resistance. In a related intelligence-driven operation on the same day, troops of 82 Division Garrison deployed at Adani in Uzo-Uwani LGA, acting on credible intelligence from the Department of State Services, tracked and intercepted ransom proceeds linked to a kidnapping syndicate. The swift raid led to the arrest of a notorious kidnap suspect, further exposing the group’s reliance on criminality to sustain its collapsing network. Exploitation of the area led to the recovery of a pump-action rifle and the sum of Two Million Naira (₦2,000,000), Cash believed to be ransom funds, from the suspect’s residence. The suspect and recovered items have been handed over to the appropriate authorities, for a through investigation to track other members of the criminal gang. The operation further degraded the IPOB/ESN’s operational and financial capacity. These outcomes further demonstrate that IPOB/ESN elements are steadily losing ground, resources and cohesion under sustained military pressure. The Nigerian Army remains unrelenting and fully committed to annihilating all criminal and insurgent elements, denying them any sanctuary. The NA further assures law-abiding citizens of its unwavering resolve to protect lives and property and urges continued public support as operations intensify to restore enduring peace and stability across the South-East.

Peter Obi is in bed with the people that he, with his own mouth, referred to as 'the structure of criminality,' but a young Nigerian who has demonstrated excellence in his field cannot be an ambassador for his state. One of those zombies blatantly justified the contradiction. To defend his decision, Obi claimed that his alliance with these people is like Jesus Christ and the tax collectors. Would Jesus Christ have been exposed by the Pandora Papers? This is exactly why Prof. Wole Soyinka said he enables the madness of the group. They derive their delusions from his. He is everything they are. Those who say they are hurting his chances miss it. They are him and he is them. One even had the audacity to say, "If Jesus come contest for this Nigeria politics, Obi go win am.' Never mind that he hasn't won any election, primaries or main election since 2010, three political flip-flopping trips ago.
