Today we discussed December’s Imua Value of sharing and caring by reading the book Tu Tu Makes a Lei and then we practiced sharing and caring by making our own leis to give away. #BeAllYouCanBeInC3#livealoha🤙
It was an incredible honor to have, WW2 Vet, Pearl Harbor survivor, and @MidwayMovie consultant, Mr. Jack Holder in C3 today, on the eve of the 80th Anniversary of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. Mahalo @bestdefense_ for making it happen. 🇺🇸 #truehero#BeAllYouCanBeInC3
Fear Factor C3 Edition went down today. We had mummy scabs, bloody bandages, zombie brains, goblin guts, witch bones, spider eyeballs, chocolate covered cockroaches, monster earwax, mystery jelly beans, and dirty worms. So fun! #BeAllYouCanBeInC3@mokapuelem
We had way too much fun reviewing factors, multiples, GCF, LCM, and prime and composite numbers today, thanks to @PlayBlooket’s Halloween Candy Quest. Who would’ve thought that 6th graders would enjoy stealing candy from each other so much. 😂🎃🍬 #BeAllYouCanBeInC3@mokapuelem
Not all lessons are academic. Words are powerful and they matter. Kindness matters. Our words and actions can come out so easily and quickly, but they are very hard, if not impossible, to take back. #BeAllYouCanBeInC3#spreadkindness#livealoha@mokapuelem
And this is why I teach upper elementary. I love their personalities and senses of humor. One of my Decimal Diner customers left me an anonymous Yelp review. 😂
Welcome to the C3 Decimal Diner…where diners must total up and split their own checks correctly and stay within their budget or else they wash the dishes. #realmath#BeAllYouCanBeInC3@mokapuelem
C3 had a lot of fun combining graphic art and career week to make these awesome digital selfies. We have future chefs, artists, gamers, YouTubers, movie makers, and so much more! #ohtheplacesyoullgo#BeAllYouCanBeInC3@mokapuelem
C3 mathematicians were practicing adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing while using the clues to solve the Whodunnit mystery. #BeAllYouCanBeInC3@mokapuelem
C3 is learning about prefixes and suffixes. We discovered that some words are “imposters” because they look like they have prefixes or suffixes, but don’t. So it was only natural that we played Trust No One on @gimkit to practice. #BeAllYouCanBeInC3@mokapuelem
@pattieroom211@mokapuelem They brought 5 items from home that represent them with a blurb: something they can’t live without (not electronic); favorite book, movie, or artwork; favorite hobby or interest; and 2 of their choice. Then they walked around to look, comment, ask questions, and make connections.
The C3 Me Museum was a huge success! There were excellent questions asked, caring compliments given, and wonderful connections made. #WeAreAFamily#BeAllYouCanBeInC3@mokapuelem
