Signing the petition is the least you could do for the vast majority of your community that put you in the position you did.
You quit destiny on principle not because you stopped enjoying the type of game but rather the retcon writing decisions and poor direction from leadership and you explained that in your video years ago.
How does marathon being an extraction shooter execuse any of that? Sure you enjoy extractions shooters because it makes great social interaction content on YouTube... so sounds to me you've chose profit over principle and are choosing to be just as petty as us marathon haters.

I don't owe anyone anything. I made content you liked, and you watched it. And when I stopped making that content you left (which is also fine). But this is the exact reason I won't support the petition. You don't have to like or play marathon but actively attacking people for playing marathon is too far. This kind of behaviour is the exact reason I left the destiny community.

They should have added versions of the raids that had less mechanics or were purely combat focused, a few weeks after the release of each raid.
Some people wanted to play the raid but didn't have friends, and matchmaking just doesn't work well with complex mechanics.

I've never actually done the Divinity quest/puzzle I just joined a boss checkpoint on a completed run in an LFG and got it that way.

Made a game for a niche audience that likes edgy offensive content as a joke.
Popularity blew up when it was discovered overnight and tons of people started buying it.
Also got lots of hate.
Changed the game to appeal to the haters instead of the new potential fans who would have been exposed to his game.
Now appeals to neither the core audience nor the haters who never liked it in the first place.
Reviews tank overnight.
Developer reputation is now even worse than it was before they were just known for being edgy.
Brilliant strategy.
