I really don’t belong anywhere in the Church anymore. It’s a painful reality. I belong with Jesus but in every church ‘faction’ I just don’t belong. I don’t feel at home or safe. I feel at sea, clinging to the cross of Christ, a pilgrim pulled by a deep desire not to compromise.

We can only find that in the comfort of the One who will never reject us — Jesus. The One who sits with us and reminds us rejection from man doesn’t equal rejection from God.
