Daily Bar with 21-Day RSI and volume traded Afrimat looks like picking up some technical support after recent decline. The 21-day RSI is rising out of oversold territory and above average volume have been traded at lows recently indicating some good uptake into the pullback.

@Affsec Hypothesis: Higher gov bond yields (especially quality ones like US), will crowd out liquidity for corporates, especially those that aren't as high quality/riskier. Why give TENCENT your money and subject your capital to Chinese risk when you can earn close to 5% on US10Y

Cannot argue here, Platinum is expected to be in quite a deficit in the coming year, so the electric car story is all factored in.

@tradinglikeafox That platinum deficit seems to be attributed to investment demand in 2024 onwards, which I dont believe will happen.

Platinum and gold used to trade at parity many moons ago. Today the gap is over $1000 per oz. What if the market starts pricing Pt upwards? Got to own some at these levels I recon.

@thejoshviljoen Someone was very short going into this. Anycase, bought some at R10+, lets see how the rest of 2023 pans out! Its in management's interest to get the price as high as possible for a successful Nasdaq listing, and to get the CEF investment of R1bn consumated

@Siddels1000 From one of the broker notes - current share price assigns zero value to Phase 2, and without Phase 2 there is no business imo.

@Affsec I repeat my view - Phase 1 will never make profits to justify valuation or pay dividends. You need Phase 2 to make this project work and until it is fully funded, Nasdaq listed and go-ahead given, I would leave well alone. Just too risky.

RENERGEN - big disconnect between the share and the recent rally in natural gas prices. Looks more like a buy than a sell at current levels.
