The Witcher IV tech demo on UE5 looks incredible. Now with Unreal Engine 6 officially announced, I’m wondering what CD Projekt will do next. We still know nothing about UE6’s features, but the question is already here. Do they keep The Witcher IV on UE5, or move future projects like the Cyberpunk sequel to UE6?

Forza Horizon was so exciting to me because I thought the industry had finally "discovered" the idea of open world driving sims. 🐺
It was based upon FM4's engine. They were honest about the concessions they made, and why. The barrier-lined roads felt designed for a challenge.

@MurkaDurkah Both my roommates right out of high school bought their cars off a few months of saved paychecks, minus bills. I could just walk to my job, so I didn't invest in a car right away. Then Obama told everyone to destroy old reliable cars for ones they couldn't afford payments on.

Brand new Forza player here. It’s honestly incredible the amount of moral elitism there is from both sides on the “cheating” argument.
For a game where there is content for every single playstyle ever, Forza players reaaaaly like to force people into one playstyle.

@MasterLoganate The game doing racing or drifting for you, VS using autodrive to chill out and take in the scenery are not the same things. The point of a car game is engaging with your car. If you play the game and your car is driving itself 95% of the time, sorry, I don’t consider that valid.

@MasterLoganate I’m not sure what any of that has to do with autodriving assists. I think you’re taking the word “racing” too literally. Whether you drift, cruise the backroads and take pictures, literally do the racing events, or something in between, you have to engage with driving.

Alright, I'm gonna say it. Forza Horizon is a racing franchise for people who don't like racing but think that they do. Shuttering Turn 10 and abandoning a beautiful racing sim like Motorsport for its cartoony cousin is just another symptom of the malignant nature of capitalism.

Yeah I get it, especially since there is little to no actual effort or creativity for most of the playlists.
There's still some level of exclusivity, but it's going to be accessible purely based on your effort, in that you will have to invest some time to visit these locations to have a chance at getting the car you want, and you will need to earn the credits to buy them.

Ugh. My most hated part of Horizon 4 and 5 is back.
They claim that the 'FOMO' aspect has been overhauled but remain vague on HOW its been overhauled.
I just wish the Festival Playlist wasn't a thing at all.
