@AfterDShrimp Yeah, it can be... difficult. Especially when most of my friends are more like you and prefer long DM chats and/or being in highly active Discord servers or VCs. Those kinds of environments burn me out really fast though. Learned that the hard way during my last surgery.

Imma be honest, I'm really struggling to feel talkative right now. Putting my thoughts to words feels very strenuous, and I keep thinking of all the people I want to get back to but it's just giving me choice paralysis to the point where I don't even want to start.

@AfterDShrimp Previews would be nice! Not sure how tolerant this site would be towards direct links to the other place though.

So, I've been drawing again, but I've got a dilemma: obviously, I'm now primarily posting on 🟦☁️, so for posts going forward, do I just put a preview and a link there, or something else? I'd rather know y'all's opinion, given that there's very few people that I'm reaching here.

@bjdadcs I do agree that it's been getting better and better (though personally, and I know it's controversial, the peak of Wilds was TU3 with Omega, Gogm/azios disappointed me after the beetle), but yeah, some things can't be fixed with simple TU.

@AfterDShrimp I can totally get that. Personally I think the game has been getting better over time (or maybe I've just gotten more tolerant towards its faults lol), but it's still mired with so many bizarre, baffling, and downright bad design decisions.

If Wilds had a better photo mode I would've tried to make a little sequence where a Sild villager is about to be attacked by an invasive normal Rathalos but gets saved by a Guardian Anja that rushes in and eats them. Would've called it "A Guardian's Duty" or something.

DUSTY 2024 work but these were fun as well I think and it did help me get more relaxed about full colours we got macro hand(thumb❓)jobs and raptorial hindlegs . The sketch on the right was the first concept

@bjdadcs I would have made something, honestly, especially with a design like Ar/kveld or Zo/h S/hia, but I'm still so disappointed by the game that I just don't bother. Like, even playing the most recent patch I was just reminded of how many things they fumbled.

Like it's still kinda crazy to me that it's been over a year since Wilds released and I still have yet to see a single piece of endo art involving the Guardian monsters despite them being quite literally built for it.

@AfterDShrimp When I'm not feeling sociable I typically fill the void with games, work, going out driving, going to movies, etc., however I can't do any of those things right now so I just keep lying around like this. (Also you're one of the people I've been meaning to get back to)

@bjdadcs Funnily enough you've got the exact opposite problem to mine: my social battery gets exhausted by lots of small talk, but direct and extensive one on one conversations barely drain it. Point is, I absolutely get it, no need to worry at all ^^;

@AfterDShrimp Problem there is that one-on-one DM talks are way more draining on me than small interactions like this. I *have* been talking to one friend in particular over the past few days tho, but it hasn't been giving me a desire to talk to anyone else. Also my biggest issue rn is this.

@bjdadcs It's hard, of course, but I myself usually find that talking one-on-one is much, much easier than the "trying to fish with a hand net in the ocean" ordeal that's posting something in this site nowadays.

@bjdadcs If it feels weird, don't do it! Trying to force yourself into kink mindset when your heart's not in it is a recipe for disaster, speaking from experience. I don't know how you'd do this, but maybe finding people sharing your interests and talking to them individually might help?

@bjdadcs With any luck the soreness will diminish down to nothing with time. Here's hoping for it, in any case!

Hip surgery round 2 complete. Started around 12:30 and ended around 2. Feel WAY more sore after this one compared to the last, and I was told that they had to do extra work on it too. Having to use a walker as well cause crutches don't feel like enough.
