@elonmusk Elon, when can we expect some video game development tools from @xai @grok imagine. We're looking to add game dev to our studio and we like what we're seeing so far for art styles.

I will note that when asking it questions it does rely on what it deems as reliable sources too much. Many times those sources are not actually reliable and may actually be invalid, bias, spam, or propaganda. It would be nice if we could remove sources like a profile based blacklist.

@xai is far better on most tasks vs other AI models. Needs work listening to complete promps especially imagine/flux video generation which always wants to add cinematic motion to every scene, like a kid with too much sugar it cant stay still even when told to. Code project organization could be improved as well as ability to properly parse existing but outdated code and rewrite it into modern code better. Cant wait to see where its at in a year. Will you be adding a game dev studio toolset? Sure could be fun.

What are your initial impressions of Grok 4.20? Major upgrades are still landing every week.

Honestly, a much better way would be to add a creator incentive program where top creators can pickup jobs to 'more' organically market products and do away with the ads all together. This would provide better income for creators and it could be setup in a way where marketors could approve of the content before it goes out. Those content releases would be marked with 'promoted' and based in the % of the content could be hidden by premium users. Let me know if you would like help with this? I have a ton of ideas for this and I would love to see a platform take this approach vs spamming users with ads.

@sama Chatgpt is so far behind grok now it's become totally useless to our team. Considering openai had been around for much longer and has a lot more funding that says a lot about the teams behind them.

We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right. Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases. In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing). In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.
