Ben, you know why people are angry and it’s not all bigotry. It’s the blatant race swapping of white characters with nonwhite characters for the sake of appearing diverse. Something that is never done in the reverse in modern Hollywood. They don’t just do this with fictional characters either, if that’s going to be your retort.
I feel like it’s perfectly reasonable to be upset. That being said, I’m going to see the movie and don’t care that much. I do find the casting of Helen disappointing, though.
