This visa issue with India is an absurdity. Imagine going to get a tourist visa in New Delhi and being told the next available appointment is in 2025. Unacceptable. We need to do better.

Since the #MobilizationInRussia & #UkraineRussiaWar several observations related to (dual) #citizenship can be made. Will populate 🧵 as things develop. 1. While some countries ban DualCit, others follow master-nationality rule=dual citizenship is not recognised.


However, FATCA has had the unintended consequence of making it difficult to get banking services abroad for “accidental Americans”—dual citizens, Americans by virtue of birth but with few ties to the United States.
