@AlexThomp Firefighter here. Firefighters in the US are overwhelmingly conservative, their unions overwhelmingly liberal (politically). It's always bothered me. I've never taken seriously an endorsement from my union into consideration when I vote. Their endorsement is pure politics.

The Harris campaign mocked Vance in August when he spoke and got some boos at the firefighter union conference (the union just surprised ppl by not endorsing Harris).

Years ago, my wife (then girlfriend) and I made a web series. It was a soap opera, every episode was 10 seconds long, and it’s incredibly stupid! You can binge watch the whole thing in under a minute.

@jrigamonti Seeing innocent people get killed is wrong and awful, whomever they are. I struggle with coming up with a solution, since obviously Israel has to address this threat to their people, and Hamas lives and operates among innocent Palestinians. How do they do that without collateral

@jrigamonti I hear you, I am much the same (re: global events). But are the Jewish people not also an oppressed people group? Doesn't Hamas have, in it's very charter, genocidal language towards the Jews? It just struck me as odd to see you comment on one and not the other.

@Agadoni Not really on purpose, no. I don’t usually comment on global events, mostly bc I don’t understand the complexities. But I’m feeling sharply the horror of this genocidal obliteration of an already oppressed people group

@jrigamonti So, I've seen you posting quite a bit about the awful things happening to Palestinians, but, unless I missed it, I haven't see you post anything about the awful things that happened to Israelis, including the attack on October 7. Is this on purpose?
