It is technologically impossible for the Nigeria Democratic Congress website, as presently constituted, to register 10 million members in 24 hours. In fact, no single website in Africa has the capability to register 10 million distinct, data-intensive users within 24 hours. Registering that number of people in 24 hours requires extremely intensive server capacity, especially when processing biometric, biodata, or biographic information. Even ChatGPT took 40 days to register 10 million users. And X (formerly Twitter) has never registered 10 million new users in 24 hours. About the only website on Earth ever to reach 10 million registered users in 24 hours or less is Threads, and they only did so because it is owned by Meta (Facebook), which automatically integrated users who were already registered on Instagram and Facebook. Perhaps political parties can be more cautious in their claims if they want to be taken seriously by the public. Reno Omokri Ambassador Designate to Mexico. Gospeller. Continue doing your job as the government agent that you are. You are opposed to the opposition and what means is that you are working for Tinubu. We know you and we don't rate you. This is the mind of millions of Nigerians, not the less than 15k people who voted for you. The opposition train go jam you and Tinubu.
Omoyele Sowore@sowore

I Declined the Ibadan “Opposition Summit” Nigerians Deserve a Genuine Alternative, Not Recycled Failure I was invited to attend the so-called “Opposition Summit” in Ibadan, but I declined. There is no need to pretend that the same men (and a few women) who held Nigeria to ransom for years, presiding over stagnation, corruption, and systemic decay, can suddenly reinvent themselves as champions of progress or defenders of the people. Not all Nigerians are suffering from amnesia. For the avoidance of doubt, our revolutionary party, the African Action Congress (@aacparty ), will not be part of any charade designed to recycle failed political actors under the guise of “opposition.” Instead, we are committed to presenting a formidable, people-driven alternative, one rooted in integrity, accountability, and genuine transformation. We will mobilize Nigerians across the country to rally behind a credible vision that rejects the decadence and deception represented by both the @OfficialAPCNg and their opportunistic counterparts in ADC, PDP, Labour Party and elsewhere Nigeria does not need a rearrangement of the same broken pieces, it needs a complete break from the past. #AACOurParty #RevolutionNOW #TakeItBack

Jokes apart, Rotimi Amaechi, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Nasir El-Rufai have better records of achievement than Peter Obi if we compare their performance as Governors. Rotimi Amaechi, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Nasir El-Rufai have also held roles as Ministers. So they have more administrative experience. Majority of their supporters don’t have to abuse intimidate or bully supporters of other parties because they have numerous talking points of prior achievements. It’s those who have nothing tangible to showcase that rely mainly on insults, intimidation, abuses and bullying; then, play the ethnic and religious card.
SB 🇻🇦@Sifon_Bassey

Peter Obi was not even top 10 in his class of governors. He was just an obscure governor somewhere in the east. Yet today, na him be the best thing to happen to Nigeria.

“As a Christian, once you leave RCCG, go for another baptism.” This statement doesn’t stand on solid biblical or theological ground. First, baptism is not a denominational reset button — it is a covenant act that signifies identification with Christ. Scripture is clear in Ephesians 4:5: “one Lord, one faith, one baptism.” The validity of your baptism is not tied to a church brand, but to your faith in Christ. RCCG like many churches, baptizes in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. If that was done in faith, then you were baptized into Christ — not into RCCG. Furthermore, if there are concerns about perceived affiliations with APC, those should be addressed with wisdom, accountability, and truth. But using that as a basis to invalidate people’s spiritual experiences or call for re-baptism is a theological stretch, and more so wrong. If someone leaves a church because of conviction, growth, or even disagreement, that’s their journey. But suggesting their baptism is somehow “contaminated” or invalid crosses into not correct — it shifts the focus from Christ to institutions. Let’s keep the main thing the main thing: salvation is in Christ, not in a denomination. And baptism, when done in faith, is about Him — not the politics surrounding any church. Selah

@fimiletoks I paid 36k in total in my first year in 2010. House rent was 18k p/y Transport to akungba was 4,500. Milo was 400 for 450g, custard paint rubber was around 400. In akungba with 100 we buy a dozen wraps of fufu. 200 would cook a decent soup. Solé was 1500

Students couldn't afford to buy JAMB, WAEC or NECO forms. They were the first rate-limiting step. Students dropout after SS3. Go and check the number of school dropouts after SS3 simply because University education was a dream they couldn't afford. NELFUND gives them hope. University education is still tuition free in Nigeria. There is no way you can ridicule NELFUND without sounding stupid.

POLITICAL TERRORISM didn’t work for a few months. So they sponsored protests, displaying Russian 🇷🇺 flags in several states including Kano, Kaduna, Zamfara, and Plateau while asking Putin to intervene in Nigeria 🇳🇬. That did not work. So they collaborated and planned a coup. It failed. Then, they started encouraging USA 🇺🇸 to invade Nigeria after threats by Donald Trump. That failed too, and we managed to build a working relationship to fight terrorism. Now, as the 2027 election season approaches, they are back to excusing and promoting POLITICAL TERRORISM. God sees all. May He deliver Nigeria from saboteurs and enemies within!

For several hours today, thousands of people in the Opebi-Ikeja axis were stranded, some stuck in their cars, others trekking long distances. There were people who trekked from Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way to Allen; some trekked from Customs to Opebi. You want to know why? Because President Bola Tinubu was commissioning a bridge built by Babajide Sanwo-Olu. A bridge. A common bridge was why taxpayers suffered for hours. Every now and then, you see signs that many of the people in governance are tone-deaf, with scant understanding of the essence of governance: the people. You built a bridge for the people; why suffer them first before letting them use it? Why do we need a president and commander-in-chief of the armed forces to open a bridge? And why does this have to be done at the expense of public comfort? Who did this to us as a people?
